How Soon After A Miscarriage Can You Conceive

I miscarried Oct. 22nd,and I found out two weeks ago that I am pregnant. My HCG level was 138,000 two days ago. The nurse said I am seven to eight weeks. Is that possible? Is there a chance I am like five weeks and have twins?

When is your first OB appointment? They should do an ultrasound, take measurements and be able to tell you with pretty good accuracy how far along you really are. As for twins, I really couldn't tell you, but I guess it would be possible. What did the nurse base the 7-8 weeks on?
