I am so confused and sacred. I was in the ER last week and they told me I was 5 weeks 4 days pregnant. They said I have a irregular gestational sac and they didn’t see the yolk sac either. I am so confused as to how far I really am. I also read that only being 5 weeks 4 days that it might just be to early to see anything. Maybe they are off as to when I got pregnant. Here are my dates.
May last period was on 10/5.
I had s_x on 10/14, 10/20 and 10/28. I should have ovulated on 10/19. Could I have gotten pregnant on the 20th and not the 14 so my dates could be off and this is why we can not see the yolk sac? I am so scared that I am going to lose this baby due to the gestational sac be irregular looking and no yolk sac. Please help.

Jazz, you would be surpised how many early pregnancies do not stick - its all part of the process. Yes, you could have got pregnant 10/20. Where they came up with 5 weeks 4 days I have no clue. Counting from 10/5 you will not be that far along until next Tuesday. You don't say why you were in the ER - early preg signs maybe. My suggestion is you wait until your next period is missed, then get an appointment for a second month ultrasound which will show things much better. GL!

They said the gestational sac measured at 5 week 4 days. I was in the ER for pretty bad cramping. So how far along should I be if my last period was on 10/05?

Five weeks 3 days today if you got pregnant 10/20. Their figure makes it seem like you got pregnant from s_x 10/14 which would make you six weeks one day today. It is not impossible that they are right. Some women do ovulate as early as cycle day 10.
