I went to the hospital for an early pregnancy scan and they sayed the baby was like a 6 week baby, but they coodnt find a heartbeat so im scared. they gave me leaflets for miscarriges:( but ive gt another appointment next week so can someone help me is it possible to hear a heartbeat at 7 week cos im scared to go and i dont get another one. Can someone please help me :(

I am right there with you. My doctor told me not to worry. Sometimes you see the heartbeat as early as 5 weeks and sometimes as late as 10. As long as your hormone levels are increasing and the embryo continues to develop you should be fine. I just went through a miscarriage in late June, so every little thing worries me, and when I went for my first U/S last week and there was no heartbeat yet I freaked out as well. Just be sure that your doctor is doing everything he or she can to ease your fears. Sometimes testing your blood for hormone increases and having regular ultrasounds are the only things that can help ease my mind, but even still I continue to wait for the ball to drop.
