TTC After D C And Then Some

Good afternoon, ladies! I am new to this site and forum...my very first blogging experience :) I have been through a rigorous process of TTC - misdiagnosed as having a bicornuate uterus, diagnosed with PCOS, went on Femara, got pregnant 2nd cycle, lost baby at 10 weeks, had a D&C followed by numerous tests discovering I have a septate uterus...just had surgery this past Monday to correct the anomaly - another D&C followed by hysteroscopy with laparascopy and correcting the endometriosis that was found. I had my post-op appt today and the doc said I am clear to have s_x again but doesn\'t recommend getting pregnant just yet...even though she said I had a follicle measuring 26 mm and a very happy uterus. I should be ovulating today or tomorrow with my next period in 2 weeks.... How the heck do I resist the urge to TTC this soon after a D&C and uterine resection? Any ideas why it\'s not recommended to get pregnant this soon after? I heard these are my most fertile months!
