Devastated Going Through Second Miscarriage

I am so confused and devastated, going through my second miscarriage at 5 weeks however I haven't started the actual miscarriage. I went to have my HCG levels checked wednesday and they were at 400, then on friday they dropped to 360, and my doctor said it will end in miscarriage within the next 2 weeks. i am so frustrated and hurt I don't understand why I can't hold a pregnancy for longer than 5 weeks, my doctor is going to order some testing in 2-3 weeks in hopes to find the problem, but I am just wondering if anyone has taken the herbal supplement chatse tree? i took it when waiting for a period after my 1st miscaarriage and it seem to help it come, but I don't want to affect the testing that i have to go through in a few weeks! if anyone can help i'm all ears!!!!

i just had my levels checked again today and they went up again to 407, i am so confused has this happened to anyone else? i am waiting till tuesday then going back to have levels checked again if they do not drop i have to consider a D&C, which is nerve-racking since it can cause scare tissue. any help?

I myself have been through 2 miscarriages. But they never tested my levels first. My first one I was pa__sing big clots and heavy bleeding and they tested my levels and I should have been 7 weeks and they were reading about 2-3 weeks... so that was that.
I just had another one a month ago. I went in for my first visit and they did a ultra sound and found no heart beat and the baby was measuring a week to small. They never tested my levels but had me do a D&C that next morning.
Have you had a ultra sound? or are they just going on levels?
I do know your levels should be at least doubling every 48-72 hours.
Typically when they do a D&C because of miscarriage they do not sc___p only just suction but yes you can still run risks... but if you do not miscarry in a certain time the tissue can cause major infection that can cause you to loss your fertility.
I choose a D&C because I just wanted it to be over and not worry about when the bleeding will start.... but if I had known it was going to cost $14,000 for a 10 minutes OR visit 2 hours in the hospital total I would have refused it.
I have heard there are pills they can insert that can start your miscarriage I would try that first... You have to watch DR's they will toss out the thing that will make them the most $$$$ instead of telling you all your options.
