I am so happy that I am not the only one asking this question. I had a miscarriage about 11 days ago and the dr said we could start trying right away again so I guess I will just follow as if I just had my period then. Good luck to all of you.

Marce, Thank you for the advice. I will do anything to make sure this pregnancy sticks. Marce, you might want to wait to ttc again a month or two, just because you had a m/c at 18 weeks. Your body needs to heal. I am so sorry to hear you lost your baby that far along. The ladies on this site are so nice, and great to get advice from. Candace you should ovulate 2 to 3 weeks after your m/c if it was natural. If you had a d&c it might take longer. I am sorry to hear about your loss also. It is hard to loose a baby, I wish lots of baby dust to you both. :)

Marce -I am so sorry to hear about your baby. I had a d/c at 15 weeks for a missed miscarriage. Doc said to wait three months because your body is depleted and disoriented just as if you had carried full term. I didn't really realize how affected my body was by the pregancy until I felt different about 2 months later. I didn't realize that I hadn't been feeling like my old self until then. Did that just make sense? Its hard to explain because its tons of little ques that you body gives you that I had not pick up on. For example, I had lost the few pound that I had gained, but I looked more like an apple shape than my usual pear. Two weeks ago (three months since d/c) I got my hour gla__s shape back with no change in my weight. My b___st just went back to their old size, texture and shape about a month ago, so it definitely takes time for your body to return to its former level of state with the hormones and all. Coreene, Thank you for your advice. I did have a natural misacarriage so your advice really helped. Everyone on this site is so helpful and nice. Its really good to know that there are people out there that know what you are going through but are also trying to concieve again. Best of luck to all of you.

thanks, coreen and kara, i was told that my baby had been dead for 6 weeks by the Dr. which i think isn't right they should have found out sooner, do u know if the Dr doesn't find the heartbeat with the doppler if i should demand a sonogram?? in the future i mean. I have found a holistic Dr that uses herbs for everything, for ex. coreen the wild yam keeps estrogen levels up, and the red raspberry and (i'll find out the other name) can prevent bleeding accompanied with bed rest for 3 days. a holistic Dr will know exactly which herbs to use, and they are really cheap and don't have side effects, i'm not sure what caused my mc but i will take all of these as a preventative, i'm wondering if it was my ex because he used to smoke marijuana and had a really low sperm count. does anyone know if a low sperm count can cause an mc? i will keep u posted with this natural Dr. and there treatments, i think other Dr's don't have enough information about this, or maybe they just can't be bothered, except for fertility Dr's that charge alot. good luck to everyone.

I had my D&C a week ago I was 12 weeks pregnant. I want to know if anyone else is producing b___st milk. My b___sts are very sore and Im leaking milk.I feel like I did after I gave birth to my other two babies.

Im scared. I had a miscarriage and a d/c in the hospital on Tuesday June 7th. My boyfriend and I had s_x last night and the condom broke. We are NOT ready to be pregnant again. I know the chances are slim that I am ovulating 4 days after a d and c but Im scared. I dont want to take any emergency contreception so soon after the surgery. Sooo I guess Im asking for your opinion on ovulationg so soon after d and c.

chris, hi, sorry for your loss, i was told by the Dr it would take between 2-6 weeks to ovulate aft DC, but there is a chance of getting pregnant also, just wait and see what happens, i was told its best to wait, but there are people who dont and their fine, good luck.

Hi, I had an early natural m/c at 5 1/2 weeks on 5/23/05. How soon could I ovulate? Could I ovulate without all the normal discharge? We would like ttc. I am not sure when to expect a period either. I had two pg without problems I was kind of caught off gaurd with this m/c. Any advice helps.

Allie, you should ovulate in about 2 to 3 weeks after your m/c. I ovulated 17 days after mine. Now I am already pregnant again. I did have some of the ovulation mucus but not as much as I had before. I didn't have a cycle in between the m/c and this pregnancy , but the doctor said I didn't have to wait. I am very nervose now, I am 5 weeks, and I hope this pregnancy sticks. I am so sorry about your loss, my m/c was a shock to me because I have healthy children, and I have never has a m/c before nor has anyone in my family. Tara I am not sure why you are leaking milk. Since my last child ( she is now 2 1/2) I have always had milk, or colos. I am not sure why it never went away. I can only see it though if I express it. I should have asked the doc, but I never did. Marcie I really think your doctor should do an ultrasound on you next time to make sure all is well. If the baby died at 6 weeks you should have found out a lot sooner then 18 weeks, you doc should have looked into it, since you were not getting bigger, that should have been a big clue to him. I m/c the 25th of May, dr said to wait 3 months b4 ttc again. Have always had unpredictable af so not sure if af will even start within that 3 months. Anyone in the same situation?
