deena, what does af stand for?

Correen, it is encouraging to know that you were able to get pregnant before af arrived. My doctor told me to wait at least two months. My DH and I want to try right away. I purchased a test to know when I am supossed to ovulate, to my surprise I should be in the next few hours (according to the test instructions). Please keep me updated on your pregnancy. My m/c also came as a surprise, but I am hopeful and want to be pregnant again. Hopefully I will succeed in my attempt. I have been reading quite a bit of threads, I like that there are very hopeful and positive women who are all in the same situation. Thanks for the positive outlook!!

Coreene--I'm glad you are feeling well. Hope everything works out for you!! I plan on testing the 20th of June. I took a round of clomid this month. So far, I am getting really tired, thirsty, nauseated off and on and bloated....so who knows. Maybe these are good signs. I'm like you, I am nervous and won't rest easy until far into the pregnancy...once I am pregnant. I'm glad you have a family already. I can't wait until I have one, too! Baby dust to all!!!

deena, u might want to look up ovulex, it balances hormones and helps promote healthy eggs. good luck.

My doctor also told me to wait 2 cycles ttc but it was mostly emotional. He did not give me any medical reasoning. Af is either on its way or i'm pg because I have been so emotional. I hate waiting.

af = auto flow or aunt flo aka your period . Thank you for your input. Dr. called today to tell me that he got the results back from pathology on the tissue from the m/c and he says all is norm but to still wait 3 months b4 ttc. Totally burst bubble here, was hoping that if the tests came back ok he would give the go ahead to ttc immediately :( No luck there.

deena, i had my mc on may 24th, so it looks like we both have to wait 2 more months, we would both be able to try around mid august then, maybe we'll get pregnant at the same time, that could be fun.........

Hwllo...How is everyone doing ? Well, i have my appointment for a scan tomorrow morning to check on this persistent spotting i am experiencing. Although the lady i spoke to said she didnt think it was going to show anything. Have had 3 miscarriages and a medical termination and even though i now have a young son i am going through tests to see if there is a problem with us ! one blood test is tomorrow too. It is the lupus one which tests for sticky blood. \i keep telling myself that there couldnt be too much wrong or my son wouldnt be here .........I will keep you all posted exept to say that i have been feeling a little sick and have the odd twinge in the b___st department. Its probably all in my mind or a bug or something ! Its soooo hard isnt it ? Amy, you are the same age as me ! Just read one of your earlier posts - keep going girls ya gotta win out in the end.....hopefully we will all be pregnant soon. As for waiting three months...follow your hearts, do whatever you feel is right. If you feel emotionally ready to face another pregnancy with the possibility you may not have a successful outcome (But that hopefully you will )!then go for it ! I had a D&C 10 days ago. I noticed when I went to the washroom today sticky white discharge I had some slight cramping in my back and feeling like I do when I ovulate. I wonder if its possible to ovulate so soon after miscarriage? I want to try to get pregnant soon, but my physical and mental health took a beating and I want to make sure Im strong enough to face the possibilty of having anouther miscarriage.

Marce it would be cool if we could both get pregnant close to the same time, that way we would each have someone to talk to about our pregnancies that would be going through the same thing at about the same time. :) I am just hoping and praying that it dont take me another 4 years to get pregnant again seeing as I am already 37 years old and really had no plans of having a baby after I turned 39, but if it happens it happens. lol Mountains of baby dust to you all

Well, what d'ya know.....The bleeding seems to be innocent enough but I have been put on antibiotics just in case. Augmentin and apparently that is safe enough to take when pregnant. Guess what ? The scan showed that I ovulated very recently (though she didnt tell me when) and we only did the baby dance for the first time last night after a gap of a a week or so (At the behest of my Doctor). Pants ! Most likely missed this egg then. It is 2 months tomorrow since my latest m/c so it is looking like I will have waited the three months anyway - you see, nature really does have its ways of making you wait and if this baby was not meant to be then it just wasnt...I will wait for two weeks with fingers crossed anyway and hope for the best along with all of you....love and baby dust Clare x

deena, girl and everyone else i will be 40 in july so u r all soooo young, (positive thought) my mother had me when she was 40 and my brother at 42, so its very possible, deena u might want to read up on ovulex, it helps u conceive, good luck clare. mountains of baby dust to all.......

hi I had my first m/c in dec 04 at 12 weeks (never knew I was pg until then I had no symptoms), I had my second m/c june 5th '05 when I was 6.5 weeks, went to EPAS for v____al scan which showed I had m/c, this time I found out I was pg 19 dpo after doing 5 hpt and all positive and pg was confirmed by dr. started to bleed heavy on 6/5/05 which lasted for 4 days. This m/c hit me harder than the last as me and hubby have been ttc since he had his vasectomy reversal last june ( he had the snip 9.5 yrs ago when with his first wife, they have 2 sons), I have 2 sons from my first marriage (both are boys aged 13yr & 16yrs). now we want to start ttc asap, any ideas when i should ovulate or when my next af is due, the last af came 2 weeks after my last m/c then every 30 days from then till this m/c. any help would be aprieciated. i am 34 and my hubby is 41. I am also in a wheelchair because of a long term folic acid deficency which has given me permanent nerve damage and cryonic back and leg pain, I take 100mg tramadol twice a day and 5mg folic acid every day for life. And I smoke 10 a day (dr said not to quit whilst ttc as it will raise my chances of m/s because of the stress it will put me under) thanks. :)

Jue, I had my last m/c on 16th April, I had af 2 weeks after bleed stopped had a gap of a week and then a lighter 'period' for a week then spotting constantly up until a few days ago !! We are all different. What I would say is that what ever is normal for you will probably happen. Ie, one thing my body seems to be good at is bleeding. It is more likely to bleed than not to. If you have always been regular then probably expect af around the normal time you would have done... I had a scan because of the bleeding and was told I had recently ovulated and I am almost 9 weeks post m/c.I am hoping that means a normal cycle this month and a chance ttc next cycle....See earlier post-fingers crossed for a miracle this month !!! I want to know the same answer but a little more! When does the hormones get out of your system after a misscarage? My sister did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was possitive.She had a misscarage 3 weeks ago and stopped bleeding 2 weeks ago. Could she be pregnant? Or would that be possitive from the miscarage?

lana it depens on how high her levels were if they were high it mite take a while but i m/c may 3 and by may 2 i was testing neg on a hpt even before i stared bleeding or anything but i now i ovulated 3 wks 3 days after my m/c and i'm foudn out i pg agian with no af in between best of luck to her
