I just m/c on March 5, still bleeding as a matter of fact. It was a very early m/c at 5 weeks. I am so confused with how i should feel. On one hand I'm very sad because a life that could have been isn't and on the other I had just found out so it really hadn't registered. I would like to ttc soon. also scared of what that might look like. right now i guess i'm just trying to get through the next week. I feel like a train wreck.

I just m/c on 3/4 @ 9weeks(pa__sed the sac 3/5). Dr's office said I probably won't have to have a D&C because I'm pa__sing things naturally. Had a day of HEAVY bleeding and it was quite painful & am still bleeding but it's gotten a lot better. I'm troubled with the decition of waiting a month or trying again right away. I would be so devistated if we got pg right away only to turn around @ 9 weeks and go through this again. Dr said to wait for one regular cycle (this period doesn't count) then we can try again. UGH... What to do... God bless you all!*~*~*~*~ baby dust*~*~*~*~

Like the entire ttc and pregnancy thing, this seems to go to either end of the spectrum. Some are have successful pregnancies right away and some don't. I miscarried at 8 wks 12/31, had my next period 4 weeks after the bleeding started (like a regular cycle), then got pregnant with that next ovulation. I am miscarrying now at 6wks. The period I had between m/c was lighter than usual. This miscarriage is much lighter than last time....it is an earlier loss, but I think that perhaps the lining didn't get to a nice healthy thickness for this pregnancy. A specialist a friend is working with after several losses strongly recommended waiting at least 2 cycles. He said she could go 2, but that 3 would really, really be a safer bet. With progesterone supplements and baby aspirin, she's doing great now and is due in May. I think I will wait a few months before ttc again....and probably hook up with that specialist. Just scary to think of going through this again. Good luck to all.

I m/c 5 weeks ago. Today I felt wet and it seems like I am ovulating, so I took an ovulation test in the afternoon. It was negative. I followed the instructions strictly and was sure the test showed a clear negative. In the evening, there was some stretchy white mucus on my panty liner and when I wiped, it was much more, very much like my ovulation in the past, in fact, it seems more this time round! So now I am confused, am I really ovulating and if so why doesn't the test pick it up? If I am ovulating, the test should be positive since it measures ovulation within 24 hrs to 36 hrs. Unless the test is not working properly. Alternatively, am I pregnant, and that this is the so-called v____al secretion? Is the secretion supposed to feel stretchy too?

cyn- I have read that sometimes after miscarriage/or not, your ovulation levels are not strong enough to be detected by kits. I would def. really on your body more than the kit. White/Clear and stretchy, is def. ovulation. I believe when pregnant, it's just white and creamy.

Cyn - March 13

Thanks stacey. That's what I read about v____al discharge during pregnancy too and was trying to figure out if mine is considered stretchy or creamy?? Ha..ha Anyway, today the discharge has decreased trememdously so I figure that may have been the ovulation.

stacey - March 13

for future reference- stretchy can stretch between 1- 10 inches (although I have never have it stretch that much). I agree, sometimes it's hard to tell.

I had a D&C 4wks ago after a missed m/c.I have felt menstral like cramps with no period or b___st tenderness. These cramps have been on and off for 6 days.I thought maybe I was ovulating but there is no clear discharge.Has anyone had this happen? When you got your periods were the symptoms different than your past periods? Thanks

Cyn - March 13

1-10 inches of stretch? Hmm....I think mine snapped before it reached 1/2 inch. Sorry, it sounds disgusting, I did touch to see what it is. One more question, what does the b___st tenderness mean actually, is it referring to being a little heavy when felt? Mine usually feel heavier before/during period and the last time I was preggo.

stacey - March 13

1/2 inch is still stretchy, I might consider that if I were you. You have to touch it if you want to see, I touch it all the time- even feel up by my cervix to see height/softness, and if any cm there. It's all kinda gross, but it's what you have to do :) As far as b___st tenderness...some say a heaviness, but others say an ache- constant pain. (Especially if touched).

Cyn - March 13

Thanks Stacey, you are always there to answer my questions! :) I still have the discharge today, sigh...dunno what it is...just wait and see.

My MD told me to test w/ the ovulation kit first thing in the am..instead of later in the day..she said later in the day may yield false negatives and false positives! Just FYI..hope this helps!

Last Wednesday (after only one month of trying would you believe it) was four days late for my period and had a faint positive result on a clear blue test. Went to doctor on the Friday and had another faint positive there so he sent me off for my blood test to confirm pregnancy and check iron etc. The results came back (after a LONG weekend of waiting) as inconclusive. They phoned me at work to tell me they wanted me to do another blood test the following Wednesday to see if the HCG levels had increased. Within two hours of the phone call I started cramping badly. Checked while in the ladies room, yep, brown coloured blood. Within hours my brest tenderness had disappeared, wow, just like -*POOF*- it was all taken away. Phoned doctor who said he feels I was very early pregnant, thus very early miscarriage. No D&C required. One day later and I'm already wondering when I will ovulate next, just so I get to feel that elation again of a possible start to our family. Regardless of what anyone says, we're going to keep trying as we always have. I'm sending my love out to all you lovely ladies that are ttc. We'll all get there, perhaps after spending a fortune on pregnancy tests, and disappointments every month, we'll be great mums and I know we'll get there.

Suzie, I have heard that the time you ovulate can vary after a m/c. Also, the time it takes for af to come also varies. I had a d&c a little over 5 weeks ago. Thought I would get af at 4 weeks...At 4 wks, I had some menstrual like cramping, but no af. Maybe ovulation cramps?? Anyways, shortly after that, I started leaking lots of clear fluid (I'm thinking maybe ovulation, hopefully?). That didn't go away though, I have had this type of discharge for over a week now. I hope that this means that af will come soon b/c that's when I plan to ttc again. Anyone ever heard of so much clear fluid?
