Well I've read everyone's story and here is mine. I'm 45, never been pregnant. Had 1 ovary removed told it could never happen. We adopted 4 years ago, beautiful little girl. All is well. Four weeks ago I threw up at the supper table. The chicken smelled awful to me. Been nauseated, br___ts are huge, I think I have some nipple change.Dizzy and most of all just the deadest tired I've ever been. I didn't tell anyone and then I told hubby last night. He said you've thought so before. Took hpt, negative. Sat on the pot for 20 minutes staring at it. Then I saw the test had expired in December. Could an old test make a difference? I'm also diabetic. Could meds affect result?

Also, I've had really strange sensations in my lower tummy. Like cramps, but not. Brown staining and 12 days late.

The cruelest thing is to look at a pregnancy test and have it read negative when you thought for sure you were pregnant. That's why this time I am *not* taking a test! Not until my period is like 8 weeks late (it's currently 3 weeks overdue.) In the meantime, I am taking lots of vitamins and behaving as though I could be. But I won't let myself go down that hopeful road psychologically.
I am almost 45, with one child, just like you. But unlike your situation, I've experienced all the early pregnancy signs before with the birth of my daughter. It sounds to me like you are definitely pregnant! My hope is that you still are! Please let us know what happened.
