I took an answer early HPT and got a BFN. Later the same day I took a Fact Plus ( the one with the + / - sign), and got a faint positive right away. Since the Answer is supposed to be more sensitive because it is an early test taken with FMU and was negative, I figure the Fact plus, which is less sensitive and was taken later in the day is wrong.Any thoughts?

False positive is very rare if you follow the instructions. I'd test again if I were you. www.peeonastick.com is a good site for pg tests faq. Good luck.

Judging from the amount of people on this web site who have experienced a false positive, I do not think they are that rare. But go to the doctor and find out what is really goin on.

Most of the faint positives are pregnancies. If you end up getting your period, it means you probably had an early miscarriage (happens to lots of women before even knowing they're pregnant)
