Okie can i test 24 hours after unprotected s_x? Im really concerned right now.. because well I had an abortion last month and for my period to come again it may take 4-8 weeks.. that would mean even if i miss my period tomorrow.. it may not mean I am pregrant it's just that my body is not 'normal' yet and i have to wait another 4 weeks.. =/ hmm so can anyone help me?

Nope, I am pretty sure it is virtually impossible to test after 24 hours of unprotected s_x. Unless you are hiding some kryptonite in those ovaries, it takes 6-10 days to implant and only then does your body create hcg which is detected by home pregnancy tests.

your going to have to wait for another 2-4 weeks to test, depending when your period is due...one thing that i would like to question is that if you just had an abortion last month, why are you running the risk of getting pregnant again??? unless there was a medical reason as to why you had this abortion, this seems to be very irresponsible and maybe your are seeing abortion as a quick fix...i dont dispute that every woman has a right to choose, but what are you going to do if your are pregnant, would you have yet another abortion jus weeks after the first??? I would advise you to go and protect your self until you are ready to have children and start taking some responsibility

You can't test that early, HOWEVER you are still early enough for "the morning after pill" aka "Emergency contraception." It works at preventing pregnancy after unprotected s_x for up to 72 hours after the s_x in question. But don't wait around, the earlier you do it the better it works. Call planned parenthood, and a nurse can prescribe it for you over the phone.
