Does Brand Of Test Matter

Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if brand of pregnancy tests would make a difference in the results. I have had three tests (two urine tests at the doctors and one hpt today) and all have been negative. My first test was done a week before my period was due, the second done two days after my period was due and then the third one was done a week after my period was due. I bought a non-name brand from superstore. I have been feeling the symptoms of pregnancy for past two weeks or so. Had a shorter and lighter period which began three days eariler than usual. I have experienced mild cramping (a week prior to my bleeding), frequent peeing, bloating, nausious at times and general heaviness in the abdomen. Am I pregnant or not? Am I wasting my time getting another test done?
