I'm supposed to be 7 weeks pregnant (based on my last period). I have had various HGC level tests and all of them have come back with increasing values, indicating pregnancy. Yesterday I had a transva___al ultrsound and we could see the sack but couldn't see the embryo. The doctor said that it may be too early to see it. I'm really worried.

take it easy thats not going to help the baby. You are only 7 weeks? I think a sonogram would be better. God bless

I have been reading some of posts here and it seems your condition isn't that unusual. You should be alright, n u should know that it isn't always correct to base on your last period date, cos u might had ovulate late? Read up on the posts on the other Q&A here n you'll know that you are quite alright. Take good care n don't stress too much. :)

To milisa, a transv____al ultrasound *is* a sonogram (taken internally via a little wand, just like the external). I know because I've had to do several. Your condition, Mary, may be a blighted ovum, which is where the sac develops, but the baby does not. If this is the case, be sure you're tested for clotting problems - the blood may have clotted as it pa__sed through the placenta. I hope you don't have to deal with this heartache (as I did), but if you do, it will help to try and find answers before attempting pregnancy again.

My friend had the same thing with her pregnancy, she was having pains and they did a scan to see where the pain was coming from at a few weeks of pregnancy, they could see the sac but no baby and told her to come back ina few days, when she went back we could see everything even the heartbeat the nurse said the baby must have been hiding, soo good luck and dont worry you dont need the stress .
