I really think I might be pregnant, and my period is supposed to start today. I took an EPT test (already had it at home) and it was negative. I'm wondering if my hcg level was not high enough yet. I've heard First Response detects early. Does anyone have experience with this? I don't want to waste the money on another test if it's not better.

hey Sarah I was over two weeks late and I was buying the expensive pregnancy tests like EPT and they all came up negative I bought about 4-5 tests and finally a nurse told me to buy the early First Response and it showed up the next day after taking those EPT tests and I would only spend my money on first response...
trust me I spent over $50 on tests!!!!

I tested with the early response four days b4 my period was due... I did it in the afternoon about 130 pm when I had been peeing every 10 minutes and it still came out faint positive.

I get positive results on the dollar store tests and a faint positive on EPT, but a negative on 1st response. I think it is my fault because I used an afternoon diluted pee. I will test again when I pee tomorrow morning.
