i know that it says the HCG in your blood goes down in the later months of your pregnancy....so if you are taking HPTs after it goes down, even if u are pregnant, it wont come up positive ? so what is the farthest along u can a positive test?

Yes it goes down in the 2nd trimester, but never enough so that it wouldn't show up on an HPT. However, there are some women that are pregnant for nine months, deliver a healthy baby, and NEVER get positive HPTs. Hope that helps, good luck to you.
