High HCG Early In Pregnancy

We are about 14 or 15 days after conception and our HCG level came back at 13,000. This seems awfully high (off most of the charts!). Most info out there talks about low numbers but there is very little on high HCG. They told us we dont need a 2nd test (as we are very pregnant) and have scheduled an Ultra sound for 1/7. (about6 weeks)We are still quite nervous only thing we have read about high numbers is that it could be a molar pregnancy which clearly isn't good.. any help would be appreciated so we can sleep!

With high levels of hgc sounds like it could be a multiple pregnancy...either way it goes...congrats to you!!!!

That's what I would think too. I've heard that it means TWINS

thank you both for posts twins would be exciting we lost twins at 12 weeks in August so we are still a little nervous... no one has any knowledge of Molar pregnancy though? that is what is most scary .. hoping it is a pair of healthy twins .. keeping fingers crossed..

dont worry so much i have just seen a web site that details lots of possibilites of a high level one is a possibility of twins ...... good luck!
