My husband and I are trying to have another baby and are very excited to find out if it is positive. He is deploying for 5 months and we were hoping to get pregnant before he left. I always start on either the 13th or 14th of every month. My dr ran test for something else on May 3 and wanted to do a preg. test also. I felt like it was to early since I only ovulated no more than 5 days ago. It was a blood test and it came up neg. I was very disappointed. But am wondering should I keep wishing for this to be pos or is it hopeless!!!

That is really really early for it to show up. It takes about 8 days for the embryo to even implant into your uterus and probably 15 (on average) for your body to make enough hormones to get a positive result. Try around the frist day of your missed period... i know it's such a long wait!!!
