Its Probably Nothing

I am taking birth control, and my boyfriend pulls out. I had mild bleeding for about 4 days about a week after my last period ended. I am now a few days late for my current period. Is there any way that the bleeding between periods could have offset my cycle? I am scared beyond all belief. I have the symptoms that I get before my period, br___t soreness and moodiness, but no period. I know it hasn't been that long, but I guess I just need a little reassurance. What does anyone think?

Since you are on BC pills, and he pulls out, it's unlikely (but not unheard of) that you would be pg. The bleeding between periods could be from the BC. The signs of your impending period are also the same signs as pregnancy. I would wait a few more days and if you haven't started buy a home pregnancy test. If it comes out neg then I would call your dr. I would also maybe suggest using condoms instead of the pull out method, maybe that will ease some worries for next time. GL!

You are probably not pregnant if you have been taking your bc the right way, and you are using the pull-out method. If you are late you should be able to take a test and find out. You get one for a dollar at Dollar General, that is a good test. Good luck.

Thanks guys... I have been taking the pill since october, that is the only thing that is confusing me about the bleeding I had earlier this month. I have not missed pills or anything. I have an appointment with the health center for thursday if I do not get my period by then. Woke up this morning, no period. Still worried.
