Negative Test Results But STILL NOT PERIOD

Has anyone been in a similar situation?
I have never missed a period or had it been late a day in my life since I started getting them at age 11 ( I am now 22 ) Just recently, my period hasn't come! I took 2 HPT, both came back negative. I went to the doctor, my test was negative. BUT WHERE IS MY PERIOD! I am not that stressed, and in fact have only been stressed to the point of tears everyday for a month this past summer and I STILL got my period on time! I was on vacation during when I would have conceived and it was the most relaxing vacation I've ever had! I have slight cramps, bloating, frequent urination, very tender br___ts, increase in appet_te, and I am really spacey. Could the doctor's urine tests have been wrong? I once read that the urine test doesn't work for every woman. Is this true? Could I be pregnant and my doctor is just a doof? I wanted the blood test, but she wouldn't let me! HELP!

J, I'm in a similar situation. How late are you? It might be too soon to detect the hgc hormone. I'm 14 days late myself, and took two tests the other

Well, I'd recommend waiting a week and trying again. I'm waiting one more week myself, when i'm 3 weeks late, and if by then I still am negative and have no period, i'm going to go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. If you still get a negative result next week, i'd recommend going back to the doctor. Good luck and keep me posted!
