Sharon, This is Stephanie. I posted the question here. I finally got a + test (at home my mom drew my blood like before) on 9/13. I go to the Dr. next Tuesday 21st to confirm. I am going to ask him why it took so long to be positive. I will post when I get an answer. Alyssa, If s____n comes into contact with the v____a it is possible to become pregnant. Now usually this would not happen if you were not having s_x, but if for some reason your v____a is exposed to s____n it is possible to become pregnant. Hope that helps.

Hey their ladies !!HELP!! This is my first post and I am scared. My last period was on July 16th and I have not started I had a light pink spot of blood and that was that, with a creamy light pink discharge a couple of weeks ago and I am 29 years old, and a mother of three. So I know I think I do at least when I am pregnant. I have taken at least 6 pregnancy tests and all negative of course. About three weeks ago I had a blood test and again negative. What the HELL!!!! I have never missed a period and am almost always on time. Do you think because I am older and having three children before make the HCG levels lesson. I have heard you can get false results and in fact wind up pregnant. I have had the light pressures in my stomach. My b___bs are huge to begin with so no sign their, I have always felt great with no nausea in any of my pregnancies and my b___sts never did hurt so what now. Am I or are'nt I that is the question. I think the makers of all of the pregnancy tests use us like guinnea pigs and don't make the tests sensitive the way they are supposed to be to make money off of women like us and it PISSES me off GIRLS am I right or am I right. Didn't mean to write a book but I need a knowledgable answer from someone who can help thanks and GOD BLESS!!!!!!

HI i am only 19 with one son I am 8 days late and have taken a urine and blood test both (-) of course and I have all the symptoms of pregnancy plus yesterday morning I got a brownish discharge then later on it got into a lite pink but very faint I am really scared I may have something else wrong with me could some PLEASE give me some advis eon what it could be or who has had similar situations and ended up pregnant

Hi! This is my first time here and I have a qustion. I got inseminated 9 days ago and I am going on day 14 after insemination to get a blood test. I couldnt wait anymore so I took a test today (which is 9 days after insemination.) It was a home urine test and it came up negative. Everyone keeps telling me that you cant get a accurate result until atleast 14 days after insemination. Is this true? Could 9 days after insem. be to early?

Hey everybody...I have a question...My last period was the third or fourth week of July (I don't remember which)...I took a hpt on Sept. 8 and it was (-). I had a blood test today at the doctor's which was also (-). I'm supposed to get another one next Wednesday in case I conceived Labor Day weekend. If it's (-) my doctor wants to either give me the depo shot Friday or give me hormone pills to start my period and then give me the Depo shot. If the test is (-) again, should I go ahead and get the shot/hormones, or should I wait longer?? I've had lots of symptoms (frequent urination, nausea, fatigue, headache, gas, and starting today cramps) and don't know what to do... I'm afraid the test might be (-) even if I'm pregnant, and taking the hormones would abort the baby...I don't want that to happen...what should I do???

Hi everybody, This is Stephanie...I posted this question originally. Sorry it took me so long to get back & update, but it has been a pretty rough week. I started spotting on Monday 9/20. I went for my Dr. visit on the 21st & it turns out I am definately not pg. He said that he thinks that I just must not have ovulated in August therefore causing the missed period. He said that the + I got last week at home must have been a chemical pregnancy. It is really hard for me to understand what is going on with my body. I have been pregnant before & I would have sworn on anything that I was again. They can't find anything wrong with me or my husband, so that just makes it that much more frustrating. But at any rate, I just want to thank everyone who responded to this post. It does help to hear other peoples stories & ideas. The past 2 1/2 years have really been difficult for me, and not getting any answers makes it worse. I have decided that I am not going to think of myself as ttc anymore as the anticipation every month is just too much. I am just going to try to get on with my life & accept the fact that one child is a blessing enough. Maybe I will have a great surprise someday, but I'm going to try to not sit around and wait for it anymore. I wish you all the best of luck. I plan to check in regularly. There is lots of good advice here. But thank you all again for your kind words & support. It really has meant alot to me these past few weeks.

I am 7 days late for my period and i have done 3 home test and 1 blood test. My body feels pregnant and still all of them are saying no baby. could it be possible for the blood tet to be wrong as well? My doctor says that if i haven't started in 2 weeks then he is going to give me something to make me start.Does this sound normal? Has anyone else had a neg blood test and still been pregnant. I have every syptom of being pregnant and yet the test come out no everytime. please help.

well, i don`t know if i am in the same position but i think i`m pregnant.i took several test also went to the hospital to find out if i was sick or pregnant.and i was ok, but i continue to feel the same way. i had my period but it was not like i usually get it.i don`t know what to do i keep feelin sick and it has been more than a week and a half since i went to the hospital

so i still am safe i know i'm pregnant 3 neg with hpt one blood i'm sick everyday,sore and tingle b___st secretion same as for my son who pa__sed away at 7 months from heart problems i never took a test with him at all i just knew i was sick the same as i am now so i'm still saying i'm pregnant no matter what

Jennifer, I had the same problem. Don't worry about it. I started taking the pills yesterday to make my period start. It's just progesterone. You take it for a week, and then your period's supposed to come. If it doesn't, then you should go back to the doctor. If you are pregnant, and you take the pills, it won't abort the baby. I asked my doctor just to be sure. The baby would cause your body to make progesterone anyway, so you might actually be helping it. I wouldn't take it for more than a week, tho! The info that comes with it says that if it's taken in the first trimester for any length of time it can cause birth defects. So if you don't start after a week, go back to the doctor! Make them give you an ultrasound!!!

I have EVERY sign of pregnancy but the hpt and urine test at the Dr. says -ive. I took one this morning and it said -ive. I would be 12-14weeks pregnant. I had an u/s last week and since they were looking for something else, they cant tell me if I am or not. The Dr. obviously dont think I am so she tested me for EVERYTHING, I mean from a STD testing to Cysts...and still nothing, all tests says that i'm fine. I did spot for like 12 days (lite pink & brwn). Any advice...THANX!!!!
