well update...i have set up another doctor's appt for myself and this time my mom is going with me. she's good asking questions especially appropriate questions. my mom thinks i am, but thinks that doctor are overlooking something or not seeing something. she wants me to have a ct-scan. i explained to her that they took every possible test with my blood they could and i should know how it feels to be pregnant since i have done it 4 times already. with my 3rd child i was having my period can't remember how long but i was having it and all of sudden one night it stopped. this last time when my period was on, it spotted for the 1st day which is usual for me( no protection needed)the next 2 days bleeding and then the next couple of days light spotting and i mean very light. I am just guessing that maybe my body isn't producing enough Hcg i don't know, i guess i am just looking at it from all angles. i feel and look pregnant. my b___sts are huge and producing something that i can squeeze out(clear) i have v____al discharge, urinating more now, certain smells bother me expecially coffee, back aches more, even though i had a u/s i had a non-ob which means that were only looking for certain things and maybe the kind of u/s i need is the one that v____al since i am a woman of plus-size. i am not a real religious person as well, but i am a christian and God answers prayers and he hears your calls and cries and something is weighing on your mind believe me if you believe and seek his help he will answer and i do believe he answered mine. just wanted to update. ASK LADIES AND BELIEVE. because i lost my way and didn't believe because of things that was happening to me and that he didn't love me and i was mad at him, but he always showed that he loved me and i believe he showed me no matter what form or fashion it was that i was pregnant and carrying a little girl. i believe it with all my heart. all you have to do is ask and you shall recieve, but you must believe and believe in him as well. I'll pray for you all.

Here is my story. I'm 22 years old, and my fiance is 20. We've had unprotected s_x multiple times, and have never before had any symptoms like this. Strange pregnancy and periods run in my family. When I was 17 I was told I suffered from ammenorihia (never had my period before then). They put me on birth control, and my period started coming regularly and it has ever since. I've been off of birth control for a little over a year now, and my periods have remained constant only off by one or two days. I was supposed to get my period on December 9th, and I still haven't gotten it. I took a pregnancy test on the 10th in the morning it came back negative. I took another test today (late afternoon) and it also came back negative. But the symptoms! Oh my god! I've had severe migraines, so bad they keep me from working, a weird fluttering feeling in my stomach, I pee every hour or more, I generally feel ill (naus.), I'm constipated (which has never happened in my life- ever!), and I'm always tired. Every once in a great while I'll have strange pings and cramping in my lower abdomen and I feel bloated, like I'm running around with a giant balloon in my belly. Also I have been extremely emotional, I'll cry without a moments notice. I scheduled an appointment but it's not until January 4th, and I feel like I'm going nuts! I spoke to my sister (her and I have had similar "womanly" problems- and has three children) and she said she tested negative (blood and hpt) for both of her girls and didn't find out she was pregnant until around 5 months for one and 7 months for the other (there is something to hope for ladies), and with an u/s. Do you think I could be experiencing something similar? And with my past is it likely that I might just be suffering from ammenoriha and dillusion? It wasn't planned, but honestly, I wouldn't mind. Should I ask the doctor to schedule an u/s for the day of my apointment knowing my past period history?

wow dayray....the last part that you said gave lead me to an answer( i hope)...i mean doctors says that blood will 100% work, and if it's negative then its negative...well since your sister had a negative blood test and still got pregnant, then wow...good chance for me now...thanks that kind of gave me a good relief....

The doctor thougt maybe there was something wrong with my blatter. Therefore he took a sample and the lab reported my HCG was really high so he did a doppler test and there was the sound of a babys heart a oultrasound was done and the doc was suprised by what he saw a 350g. 11in. baby girl. I was also shocked.

Hi ladies it just amazes me that there are so many of us out there dealing with the same thing. well i just took another test yesterday morning, and it came bck negative, started feeling little movements last friday and still gaining weight, I am scheduled for a Colonoscopy on the 27th to see if its something to do with my bowels. well reading the last couple posts give me hope. good luck ladies.

marillaz - December 17

Hi ladies...well...I think I have resigned to the fact that I'm not p/g. I took my son to the doc for his illness and talked to the nurse about my symptoms. She said that they are common symptoms for someone entering perimenopause. When the hormones start changing your bowels start doing weird things. The bloating above the belly b___ton is a common complaint. Which would make sense to me since my uterus doesn't feel p/g but I have bloating above like I am p/g. I think I have resigned to the fact that my body is doing weird things because of my age and obesity. If I can feel a baby stretching (which should be in a couple of months according to my calcs) then I will know for sure if there is one in there or not. I don't want to sound discouraging for anyone else though. If you aren't old like me, then I would definately get some answers from your doc. Good luck and God bless.

kecia - December 17

well Marrillaz....i don't think that you should go on what a nurse tells you unless you see a doctor who can verify that you are actually entering into perimenopause because that has something to do with endo system and you should have all that checked out first because nobody knows your body better than you. so before you to that get diagnosed first properly by a doctor and see first hand. well to update me....i spoke with my mom and asked her about heartbeats and how far down can you actually hear your beat. i was just curious about that. she explained to me that your body has pressure points like your wrists, the bottom of your feet, the sides of your neck, and the main part the heart itself for a man the chest the woman under the brest bone. i asked her how far down should you be able to hear your heartbeat she asked me why. she said the further you go your heartbeat gets fainter and fainter and i asked her well should i be hearing a beat down by belly b___ton and she says why because i am hearing a beat dow there and she told me you should not be hearing a beat especially yours down there and not that far down i told her i did well i was taking a bath. i don't know what is going on but now its getting pretty weird to me anybody have some idea on what i heard or something?

kecia...thank you for the encouragement. I will get to the doc eventually. After shopping today, my hips are killing me!

Ever feel ike you are so in touch with and so out of synch with your body at the same time?? I've been "trying" for almost 2 yrs now and my body has been through a lot of cycles where I thought I might be pregnant and then wasn't. It is like miscarrying...the hope and then the grief is so hard to keep doing month after month. This last cycle has really messed with my mind, and I'm hoping someone out there can relate and offer suggestions/support. I inseminated on Nov 9th. On the 20th I started having minimal brown spotting (just when I wiped....that minimal) which continued for 4 days. Then a day of nothing. I thought it must be implantation bleeding and so I was thrilled. (It started 25 days past LMP and my cycle is usually 31-34 days.) But then more spotting the next day, regular bleeding the day after that, a day of light bleeding and then 4 more days of spotting. I called my doc a week later b/c of symptoms like b___st tenderness, b___st enlargement, fatigue, moodiness. I had an ultrasound that showed an ovarian cyst and no pregnancy (not counting my wierd period, I would have been at about 6 wks then). Still having b___st and nipple soreness, I'm terribly irritable, having both fatigue and insomnia (could be stress) and strange feelings in my abdomen on both sides. Yesterday I started another period, just 2 1/2 weeks after the wierd cycle. I go between hopefulness and pessimism. I have another appt with my doc in 2 days. I want to be pregnant more than anything!!! Anyone have any thoughts to share? Please??!?!

Confused - December 21

I am going through the same thing negative tests, but swollen stomach not bloated but swollen and hard, expressing milk, enlarged b___st, feeling movement in my lower abdomen and v____a mostly, my face even gotten fatter not puffy. Well to make a long story I been going to ultrasounds and have seen a heart beat, a head, and my mom saw a face. I have seen expression on the tech that says that can't be possible. Well one ultrasound I went to was just the one that I just knew they saw something. Okay she told me that I will have 2 different type ultrasounds transv____al and the regular one but only of my pelvic. Well at that time I felt really strong movements in the v____a area. So the first one I had was the one with the transducer on my v____a(not in). She put the transducer right where the movement was and her face was like puzzled. She even move closer to the screen. After that she excused herself and walk out so I said finally going find out. So she came in with another tech and she put the transducer on the part that was moving and the 1st tech eyes had gotten really big. Well the 2nd tech said we are going to delete some of the pictures. So I think she deleted what the pictures the first tech took. Then they did a transv____al one. I was so happy I was going to find out what wrong with me. I just knew they were going to say something and I went to get my results and she said normal. I was so mad. I know I have a problem. Doctors have even said my cervix was closed and it was unusual. I have had a abdominal CT Scan just to see if something was wrong and the one that show the skeleton type picture I saw an extra spine across my stomach area. I look at that picture everyday and wonder could they know I am pregnant and are lying, because in the area I stay in all the doctors know each other basically and if a doctor made mistake would they cover it up and they gave me something or did the CT Scan and did not check with the ultrasound first would they try to cover up the fact they hurt a baby. The doctors have been acting strange especially when see them around. Even when I went with my sister to her ultrasound they ignored me like I was not there. Thyroids are normal, prolatin level is normal(4.8) but I can produce milk. Sometimes it is clear and sometime it is white. Movement so hard it moves my nephew head. They say it is muscle spasms or my intestine moving. Well it moves constantly. I have heard everyone say that a baby moves more down low. No cyst or fibroids, but I can feel hard spots in my stomach. My stomach been tightness and I been having lower back pain and menstrual cramp like my af is about to come. I been feeling v____a pressure and I cannot lay in a fetal position, because I can feel the heaviness in my v____a. I can't shake the feeling that something is there. I did not have an af in Jan. and Feb. It spotted brown, red, and pink in March and April. I bleed for 3 weeks in May with clots. I thought I had miscarriage. Af skipped June and July and in August bleeding with clots. Skipped September and October bleeding with clots. It is not like my regular cycle. It does not smell like af blood but regular blood. So I do not know what is going on. I guess I am going to have to buy bigger bras and clothes for stomach until I figure this one out. I know it is possible to get pregnant right after you get miscarriage. My mom think I need a D&C . I have no problems with my bowel. I do not even have constipation or diarrhea which I know you can get in pregnancy. I have regular bowel movement and hardly no heartburn. So I do not believe the IBS either. I went to the GI doctor because I was tired of the gyn telling me to go and he laugh because I do have symptoms of bowel problems. I have gained 20lbs. My stomach is small, but with my son my stomach was small. Another lady who had her baby in April was small. We thought she was just about 5 months but she was 9 months. So a small stomach does not mean anything. When I was pregnant with my son I could hold my stomach in my hands and it was soft. It was only hard when I ate just like now. I too thought about ovarian cancer, but I do not have a family history of it. I do not have history of fibroids or cyst either. Well only time will tell. I will put my trust in the lord and asked him to help me. Because right now I need it.

Brightmoon - December 22

Confused, well I have not written in awhile. I have had numerous negative tests. HOwever, I still have a fuller stomach bigger b___sts movement in my stomach, flutters , kicks you name it. And I have been feeling nauseous, and other symptoms for awhile now. Anyway, we will see what happens.

michelle - December 22

Brightmoon, I can totally relate! I went to the doc yesterday for a follow up on my teeny tiny ovarian cyst and the doc said my symptoms made him think I'm pregnant. They did a pee test which was negative, so then the doc said the symptoms could all come from the cyst pumping out progesterone. Still...I wonder.....can progesterone cause fluttering in my abdomen??? If so, that's just not fair. I'm 6 weeks post-insemination, so about 8 weeks along if I were preggo....but since the neg pee test my doc now feels sure I'm not pregnant. I just don't know what to think.

Confused - December 22

Michelle I agree everytime I went to the doctor they say are you pregant. Then I take the test and it is negative. So they say you are not pregnant and do a series of test on me that comes out normal.

Confused - December 22

I have a question to ask since the baby is growing in the uterus. Does your stomach have to have that pear shape like the uterus. Or can it round. A triage nurse look at the shape of my stomach and said your are pregnant. I guess she could tell by the shape. My stomach is in a pear shape but lopsided. That is how my stomach was when I carried my son a lopsided pear.

michelle - December 22

It is wacky. I try not to get my hopes up (because I've been inseminating for quite a while now with no success) but I do anyways....then the big let-down. I don't know about belly shape -- I hope someone else responds with more info on that. I've never been pregnant but I want to be pregnant more than anything!!

kecia - December 22

well to update....went to the doctor (a new one) had another u/s done. a pelvic and abdominal one using the v____al for the pelvic and ......nothing. i am more confused now than ever. no explanation on the movement though or the enlarging abdomen. explanation for the b___sts i may have my hormones out of whack or a lactating hormone that is producing, but he going to at least do a blood pregnancy test just to be sure or something. i am just going to realize that my hormones are going haywire i guess...i don't know anymore. i am just tired now .....NO MORE DOCTORS PLEASE....
