I think that the digitals suck. I have read all the postings and they seem to not be consistent. I guess the old fashioned ones are best. I have a no result with a faint second line, I 'll take a regular test and tell you what happens. Maybe clear blue should be reading these postings!

THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. I TOOK 2(CBE) DIG. AND AN (EPT)DIG. ALL THREE HAD 2 FAINT LINES. THE NEXT MORNING I WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE AND TOOK A REGULAR (EPT) AND IT WAS POSITIVE ALSO WITH A FAINT LINE. I WAITED 2 DAYS AND TOOK IT AGAIN AND IT WAS A DARK LINE. SO YES I AM PREGNANT. I ALSO HAD SYMPTOMS SO I KNEW IT. YOU ARE PREGNANT. OH ALL 3 DIG. SAID NOT PREGNANT. THEY AREN'T RELIABLE.

Ya, Im really confuesed to Im having the same problem, I have normal periods been off pills for 1 year. Im wanting a baby really bad. I was supposed to start the 23rd in march but no period I still have no period as of today, well yesterday I took a prego test in afternoon, when i peed on it I sat and watched well there was a line that you could see but it was like clear, with no die on it only there was dye around it. well, when I cheacked 2 minutes later there was die on the line in the result window only it was a thin strip with pink coloring, barley noticable tho u could see it at reading level. well, today I took another one step pregnancy test strip (the one in the purpule box) and it was like almost completly neg. It still had a line with one minute but it was thin and had no coloring. Whats this mean? Now, Im cramping, and bleeding a lil its light and pink also got saliva like sticky fluid coming out with it is it a miscarrage

I have taken 2 clearblue digitals. I have heard a lot of bad things about these tests however. Just now of course! Anyways. They both told me i was not preg, and i took 5 other hpt and all were pos. i am also late so i am just waiting till monday so i can go to the doctor. The 2 lines does not mean you are pregnant. it just means the test worked. I would recommend another brand like first response. these showed positive for me in one min.

I took 2 of the Clear Blue Easy Digital tests and the digital part said Not Pregnant, but the test sticks had 2 lines on them. So the Clear blue website says that if you're not pregnant there should only be 1 line?

Also, 1sttimemom, how far along were you before you got a positive pregnancy test?

In one of my pregnancies the same thing happened. Even if the test picks up HCG, unless it is a certain level the test says no, so you are probably pregnant, just very early.

I went to the unipath website too and read the technical info on the CBE Digital HPT and it said that if no HCG is found then no 2nd line should show up at all. That's the way that I understood it. Here is the website. http://www.unipath.com/gims/content/image/other/upuk2k3/docs/CBDPT-TechnicalBrochure.pdf

On the website for the CBE Digital HPT it says in the illustration "for a pregnant result HCG binds to the anti-HCG antibody attached to the blue dye. " Then the pic shows it attaching to the control line to show that it worked, and it says that if there is a blue line in the result region about a certain intensity (meaning over 50 mlu's of HCG) then the test will read Pregnant. Then on the other side, it says, In a Not Pregnant result urine flows past the result region forming a blue line in the control region only. And it says that if there is no line in the result region, the test will read Not Pregnant. It doesn't say anything about testing LH, it only has HCG antibodies, not both HCG and LH. And that's the people that make these tests website, not someones opinion. So to me, it seems like if there are 2 blue lines, even faint, that you're pregnant.
