I believe it is negative. I think you should wait until your period comes back on normally and then try again. I haven't gotten pregnant off of depo, but being that it's not 100% accurate, i think someone has

i was on the shot for 3 years and went without a period for around a year i came off the shot and it took around 6 months for my period to get regular and and the 11th month off my shot i got pregnant.

This is my first month off the shot. I took the shot for over 5 years. I too am feeling the pregnancy symptoms. My question is...has anyone out there come off the shot and gone right onto the pill? Does it help regulate your periods quicker? My doctor has put me on the pill and says that I should stay on it for three months and then begin TTC.

I have been feeling like I was when I was having my 2 child. I have been on the shot for about 4 months. But something is just not right with my body. I was wondering what some signs of being pregnant while on the depo were?

I have beenoff and on Depo for the past 9 years. I went on it for the first time 6 weeks after having my first son and bled non-stop for three weeks. It was very heavy bleeding-enough to make me faint twice. After going to the doctor, I was given some pills to stop my bleeding and they worked immediately. Apart from that, I haven't had any other problems. I did gain about 2 kgs, but I was told before I went on the depo, that it doesn't make you put on weight, it only increases your appet_te. That is what I put my weight gain down to. After coming off it approximately four years ago, I went straight onto the pill, and being forgetful, I missed a pill here and there, and lo and behold, my second son was conceived after two months. I did go back on depo after the birth of my second son, only because I absolutely HATE having my period. Even though Its a natural part of life-its disgusting. I've always had black, heavy excrutiating periods that make me cringe when I think about it. My period would last for 7-10 days, and 5 of those days I needed to change my sanitary items every hour! Compared to that, the depo shot was absolute heaven! My last shot of Depo was January 11th, as we would like one more child, so I am dreading getting my period back in order to have a baby, so lets hope I fall pregnant straight away! Just to let you know-Depo is right for some and not others-personally-I love it!

P.s Two negative pregnancy tests can be incorrect. When I suspected that I was pregnant, I took a test that was negative. I knew very well that I was pregnant, I had all the symptoms, and my mother and my doctor told me that I was having a phantom pregnancy, but I was so sure I was pregnant so I took another test a week later. Also negative. By this time I was really getting angry cause I knew my body well-I was so sure I was pregnant, but No-the doctor said negative. Another week pa__sed and I took a third test and guess what?? It was positive. Not only that, Because I hadn't been getting my period (after depo) nobody knew when I was due. The doc guessed based on my preg test, But I guessed based on my gut instinct and body symptoms-so guess who ended up being right?? Not the doc, and not the scan-my own estimate was bang on!! So much for modern science aye??!!?

ahh! i just got on the shot and am feeling all the signs of pregancy do u think i could be preggo or is it side effects of the hormones in the shot?

After I took the depo shot it took me 3 months to start my period again and that was because my doctor prescribed me some pills to start my period. Still after I took the pills my period didn't come for at least another month or so. It's been three and a half years and I haven't gotten pregnant yet, I've been trying for the last six months to get pregnant with my second child, and I don't think that i will be trying any of those pregnancy pills.

I got my period after a little over 2 months on the depo and i am trying to get pregnant..i took a few tests too after not having my period for that long..but most likely its just a side affect from the shot
