i was raped 3 weeks ago today. I am 10 days late could i be preg? I took a home test it came up negative. I am never late. If i am preg would ithave shown up on the home test so soon?

Oh Jen, I am so so sorry. It is possible to be pg. Have you gone to your doc or Planned Parenthood to check for any STD's? If not, you should do do immediately. They can also give you a blood test and/or ultrasound to see if you are pregnant. One of my best friends was raped when she was 13 and ended up getting pregnant and had an abortion. She did not contract any STD's though, luckily. It was a very very difficult experience for her (as anyone could imagine). Oh sweetie! I was also raped and I know how traumatic it can be. Were you on any form of birth control at the time? The test makers claim that a positive result should show up on the first day you miss your period, but that is not always the case. When this happened to me, I also "lost" my period for a while. I believe that stress contributed to this. My counselor told me it may have been my subconscious trying to make SOMETHING good come out of such a bad situation. I wish I could help you more.
