Hey. well if it makes you feel any better im 16 and im waiting to get a ultra sound to conferm my pregnany... Take a home pregnancy test and if it comes back negative or positive still go to the doc and get a quant_tive blood test taken. Good Luck!

Cat, Don't panic. Women can be late for many reasons (stress, irregular). I'd keep taking home tests and wait for your period. If you can see your doctor, I would just to be safe. Ask them for a blood test to see if you are pregnant. Hang in there! It'll be okay!

I am 21 and I hadnt had my period in almost a year. Sometimes that happens. If you are not s_xually active then there should be nothing to worry about. If you take the test again and it comes back negative, then just relax about it. The more you stress about it, the less likely you will get your period. A late period can be caused by stress, changes in diet, exercise, hormonal changes, medications. If you are that concerned i would go to the doctor and see what the test results are there. That is one way to be at ease. if the test results are positive, you will have to talk to the doctor to see what your different choices will be. Best of luck

advice from a 16 year old - December 10

Well the best way to take a home pregnancy test is to wait 2 to 3 weeks after your missed period for it to be a little correct. Your Hcg level is not high enough on the first few days after you miss your period. Best advice is to see a doctor. Good luck!
