hi i just found this site i stopped taking my pill last month and its now been 39 days since my last period, im 38 and my last pregnancy was 14 years ago so it all feels new again to me i have done countless tests all negative i will go to the docs if nothing by this time next week, although i am hoping that am pregnant with my new partner good luck to everyone and thanks i have read the posts and they make you feel that your not alone and going mad

So i last wrote on november 1 just wanted to update you all I got a positve test nov, 11 =) so don't give up and those test dont always show up the first day of you missed period as we all have just proved !!! good luck toy ou all

I'm so happy for you Zoe you must be so excited. Well i got my period this morning and i'm disapointed but one thing is i had a spot on 28 day cycle so hopefully this is the start to regular cycles and that means that i will ovulate while we are on our honeymoon it would be so great if i got pregnant while we are away, there is a good chance now that i'm more regular and it's been almost 6 months since i've been off the pill now.

good luck kirsty, you will have all the morning sickness etc to look forward to and also bringing a wonderful life into the world i am very excited altough i do get up at 3am every morning and throw up but o well happy days!! p.s am also obsest with having a bath is that my craving!! haha

Veronica - how long did it take after AF was late to come out with a + result on your pg test? Today, I went to the dr. and got another urine test done and the result is still -. She mentioned that it's possible I'm just stressed, or I've been off the pill...But I've been far more stressed out than this before, and I've had bouts where I've been off the pill for months and still, AF was like clockwork. My partner and I are usually really careful and don't have unprotected s_x when I'm ovulating, but we did this month. So it's been about 2 1/2 weeks, and you'd think that if I was pregnant that long, I would have a + result...?!

I also wanted to add that I've been a royal Queen BI*** to my bf and I don't know what to feel about what is going on. I mean, I'm really scared about having a baby, but I'm kind of thinking that it will be o.k. if I am pregnant. At work today, this little boy was playing peek-a-boo with me, and I thought, well, if I am going to have a baby, maybe it's not going to be as devastating as I am leading myself to believe. *sigh* I think that being 23, and seeing all my friend getting married and starting to talk about having kids makes me want it too...Going back to the doctor's on Friday...I would ask you all to pray for me, but I'm not sure what I want you to pray for...Maybe just God's will?

Well, I got the test results from the blood test...negative. Doc thinks I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome...makes me kind of sad, but a baby will come at the right time. Maybe God knew something I didn't! Anyway, good luck to you all, and I hope that you hold on to hope.

Jenna, It was almost 2 1/2 weeks past af before ai got a positive test and even then the line was very faint and I wasn't sure I waited two more days and thats when the line was for sure !! so be patient and I will say a prayer that god will make the right decision for you =) good luck ..oh and about the stress thing you know your body and Doctors tried to tell me I was stressed but I knew like you had said i had been more stressed out before and I had a feeling I was prego but its hard to listen to your body when tests are saying your feelings are wrong ! hang in there and the minute i KNEW i was pregnant was when the smell of my BF made me sick !!! hahah =) so maybe you disliking him so is a sign ? hang in there and i wish you the best

congrats moms....i'm still waiting for my period after 3 months and 2 days the last test i had was negative my dr ordered blood work (not pregnancy blood work) and i'm fine but i do have an order for the pregnancy blood work which i'm going to do no later than saturday. when i was prego with my daughter i had just broken up with her dad but for some reason i couldn't let him go it was like i couldn't be without him and i was wondering why then i finally find out because i was prego. so u can either love or hate the dad if u are prego i guess from reading. maybe i'll go today to get the blood test. wish me luck whenever i go. this process is so stressful and the dr's did tell me it could be stress but like the rest of yall i have been more stressed in the past.

miranda s. You sound exactly like I was (am). I too went to my doctors for a pap and exam, she told me everything was fine, and sent me on my way. I was dissapointed. As it turns out, i am pregnant. I was probably 3-4 weeks pregnant when I went to my doctors for a pap and exam and she brushed me off. I go for my ultrasound tomorrrow to figure out exactly how far along I am. I wouldn't give up yet. You have the same symptoms as me, and my doctors completely missed it and I've been going to her for years. Good luck.

i know this probably isn't much help for you but i'm in the same boat as you i am 3 days late itchy b___bs cramping nausea for about 2 weeks now and a negative test but that doesn't mean your not pregnant you could just not have a hight enough level of hcg yet i still don't know know if i;m pregnant but it could also be stressed related or just a change in your life

hia tera, i am am 9 days late and the day of my last period was 10/25 i have done half a dozen test all negative, i have lost 9lb in a week and that beleive me is very unusual, also i have had cramping the last few days, my head is really battered just wanting an answer my nurse and the doc say to wait another week, i am 34 have never been late while taking the pill, and i have to other grown up kids 15 and 12 years both boys, my hubby and i just want to be out of this state of limbo and know either way, although i must admit i will be very disappointed if im not pregnant. so i suppose time will tell.

Thank you all for your helpful advice, but after 2 weeks, AF came this morning. It's kind of mixed feelings right now, because I'm glad that I can still carry out with the plans I had for school, but I was so prepared to have a baby, it was as though I was happy for that, too. Maybe in a couple of years, my bf and I will really be ready. Good luck to you all...I hope those of you hoping for a child will be blessed with one soon enough.

Hi I am new to this site. I am a week late today have had all negative results. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 3 months. I am just wondering what I should do? I want to know if I am. I have never been this late before or have never missed my period. I don't have any children so I don't really know what it feels like to be pregnant. I know my nipples are sore. I feel nauesous from time to time. I am bloated and had off and on slight cramping. I am also very moody. What should I do? I am glad I am not alone in this it was driving me crazy!

JUST WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW HOW LONG YOU HAVE TO BE LATE IN ORDER TO TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST AND FOR THE TEST TO BECOME PREGNANT?
