6 Days Late, half a dozen negatives but still think they are all wrong because I feel like something is different. Every dollar I spend on every test that is another negative is so disappointing. One week before I should have started I had 2-3 days of something? Not even sure what that was, so I can't be sure what's happening now. Technically, I should be able to try again this week (OPK not + either). But I still have hopes we conceived last time. At some point it gets ridiculous to keep testing. I stare at the tests hoping they will prove I'm not crazy!

Hi all. I'm sorry my initial post was no negative. I would love to blame my emotional wreck on a little bundle in the tummy! But like you all, I've yet to have a positive to back up my wish. Does anyone else find it difficult at "back to school" time when you're trying to become a Mommy? :-/

OK so i have been doing some research... and besides being pregnant stress seems to be the most common reason for a missed or late period. However I have not been stressed this month and didnt start thinking about my period until this last weekend. 1 BFN test so far havent tested again yet. Could there be any other reason i wouldnt have a period this month when they are normally every 28 days??

smccaleb06: I wish I knew enough about biology to help with the reasons why we are late. Like you, I have not been stressing at all. When things like this happen to me and confusion sets in, I try to think...maybe my body (or highe power) is trying to make me stop being so scientific, that maybe the off timing right now is in preparation for the perfect timing that I wouldnt normally prep for. I hope that makes sense. It helps me sometimes. I hope that we all get surprised after all the negative tests and we get the positive one morning to prove we aren't really in control afterall. :-)

Thanks, that does makes a little more sense. I havent stressed all month, and I dont really want to start now. It makes me feel crazy though that i know my body and every 28 days here comes AF and this month she just skipped right over me. I am hoping that when I test later this week it will be a BFP. Is anyone here familiar with planned parenthood. DH just started his new job and insurance hasnt kicked in yet and i was wanting to get a blood test done?

I understand your frustration. This month my body is doing whatever it wants and not cluing me in at all! One week before I was supposed to start I had 2-3 days of something. The last time that happened, it was implantation and I got a + three days after. but was only pg a few days :-( This time I still have hope. If you are trying to conceive and this month is different for you, have some hope! All other months you were regular 28 days and didnt result in pregnancy. This month it's not 28 days so I hope the result is what you wish for! I hope someone can give you insight about Family planning. :-)

Well, I just had a positive OPK which is promising either way. I've read you can cautiously use them to confirm pregnancy (they are cheaper!), but will need to take HPT to see. If still negative, at least my body is working normally and we can try again soon. Still holding out hope that the surge is from invisible baby.

15 days and still no AF. I took another pregnancy test this morning......negative again.

MaryBeth--I am 15 days late as well. I still havent taken another hpt... I think i might wait til this weekend. I already took one which was neg. last week. Are you having any signs of pregnancy?

Hey yall! From reading all of your stories, it sounds like I'm in the same boat as many of you. I'm approx. 14-15 days late and have had 5 negative HPTs and 1 negative blood test. It's driving me up the wall b/c I am NEVER this late and I'm not under any stress (besided the usual). I can't figure out if I'm pregnant, don't know what to do. This waiting and testing game is killing me.

smccaleb06- I haven't really had that many pregnancy symptoms. I've felt nauseous a few times and I've had some cramping, but that's about it. I am tired more than usual. I don't know.....blah. I'm going to wait until late next week to call the doctor. Have you had any symptoms?

marybeth... I have had the same as you...sick to my stomach a few times..but never threw up. and been more tired...been sleeping like 13 hours a night when it is usually 6-7 hours. i hate waiting... i talked to my aunt and she and i are a lot alike as far as our bodies are concerned and she said she was like 3-4 weeks late before she got a BFP and had no symptoms, so i am keeping my fingers crossed!!

Hi All. Anyone up for some comic relief? Like you, I've been confused by all the negative tests, 7 days late now with no answer. Here is something funny that happened to me yesterday as I was at the store buying ANOTHER round of home pregnancy tests (and ovulation predictor tests). I never buy them when my husband is around (he would FLIP if he knew how much I spend!). So I had two boxes of them and one box of ovulation predictor tests. I always hope the cashier doesn't pay attention, but this time I wasn't correct. This gal, with a Latina accent noticed all the boxes and sincerely asked: "Geeze. Are all of these for YOU at home or do you run a SHELTER?!" HA. :-) I was so so embarra__sed and realized I am truly carried away with testing. I dont want to waste a trip to the doctor if I can't even get a + at home. I wanted to share that, I wanted to laugh out loud because the cashier was so sincere.

i am 8days late today and today has gone already and no sign of AF, dont really know what is going on with my body but i know i ahve been having constant headache, a very bad heartburn and a metallic taste in my mouth, i just hope everything is okay as i ahve taken 2 hpt already and both neg. i am frustrated and very stress over this.i just hope AF would come soon.

Hey... I know the feeling... I am 17 days late.. just been really tired and have a headache... 1 neg. hpt and going to take another saturday once DH is back in town. Hope you get the outcome you wish
