HI all! I'm new to the site and so thankful to have found other women in the same situation as me!! I have been off bc since April and started ttc in October. If I did not conceive I should have gotten my period on Nov. 13. Negative hpts and a negative blood test Nov. 21. Although I had been "feeling pregnant" and many people close to me thought/think i am too( even my dog has been acting funny and sleeping with her head on my belly every night) i trusted the doctor that I was not pregnant, bought a new opk and have been living my life. however, a friend told me that she read that it is possible to get neg blood and hpt and still be pregnant. now i read about all of you and see that it is actually possible! it gives me hope but at the same time i feel like i'm going crazy! does anyone know if there is greater chance of a failed pregnancy if it takes a long time for the hcg to show up?

Finally i have closure i started my period today only 24 days late after 3 hpt tests and 1 doctors test being negative turns out it was my body playing an evil trick on me has done me a favour in 1 way after deperately trying for a baby for so long having really thought i was shook me to the core brought home what a big thing having one is and tbh it was not a good feeling i was actually pleased when i did come on today completly differant from when we were trying i used to cry every month very strange that i have taken a complete 180 one of my redeeming thoughts is that if the tests would of been possitive i might of felt differant who knows

I have almost the same issue except i had a slight period mine usually lasts 6 or 7 days but only lasted 3 and was very light. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests, one before my missed period and 2 after but all came back negative and i am not sure what to do anyone have any advice for me it would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking about getting a blood test done.

I'm in the same boat of course hehe I am 6 days late and a negatve hpt about 3 or so days ago, i think i had spotting but it came for 3 min and it was right after s_x, although it was the pinkish color everyone talks about.. excited/nervous! I have an appmnt with my doctor in 2 days, how many people who have neg hpts are actually pregnant?

I am so glad I found this Q&A...I am 9 days late and have been having pregnancy symptoms since AF was supposed to show her ugly head...I've had numerous negative OTC tests and one negative blood test (4 days ago)...but in my heart I feel pregnant. Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy but here's the proof...I'm not alone!! Thank you ladies for all of your responses!! Well I am heading into the doctor's office to get more information on Monday (it's now Friday) and by then I will be 12 days late...I have a dentist appointment on Tuesday so time is of the essence because I've been told if you are prego you can't get dental work done. So...the waiting is driving me nuts! I've been having pregnancy symptoms, cramping and pain when AF was supposed to arrive followed by frequent urination, nausea to smells, b___st changes, tired all the time, moodyness, and even some other things that I care not to discribe. LOL...but everyone tells me I should trust the tests but I know for a fact that nothing is 100% sure in this life, except God. ;-) I feel pregnant and I'm not going to give up until AF shows up or a + test or if the doctor finds out what else may be going on...and it's not stress. I cannot stress that enough! LOL... Best of luck to all of you!!

Same thing here. My period is almost 2 weeks late. My b___st are swollen and I've been experiencing nausea along with abdominal pain. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests (2 First Response and 1 E-p-t) all of them were negative. But still no cycle..... After reading this forum it looks like going to the doctor hasn't been much help. So I called around to a few of the Women Health Centers in my area (Houston). Well when I called one I found out that I can get an ultrasound done even if my tests are negative for only $15. Where you ask? The local ultrasound school. So it seems students are being taught how to detect things like pregnancy an one can be obtained for a sure yes or no. My appointment if Friday I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Hello everyone, I'm new here and having the same problem. I'm 8 days late for AF and I've gotten all Negative HPT's. My period is usually regular with maybe a 1 or 3 day difference. My partner and I had s_x around the time I should have ovulated. I've had mild AF type cramping off and on for about 2 weeks and funny feelings in my b___sts. I keep running to the bathroom with tampon in hand thinking AF is going to be there only to find nothing. When I was pregnant the first two times, I noticed symptoms right away and tested positve the day my period was due. Now with my aunt she didn't test positve with her second son until she was 3 weeks late.

First off I would love to commend all the brave woman who have given and received great advice on this site. I hope I can help others and have you help me. My husband and I have a 2 1/2 yr old son already and the hpt came positive the first time i took it when i was only a couple days late. Well we have been trying to have a second and have been expierencing the same thing as u ladies. I had my AF October 29th, Worked on making a baby during ovulation time, spotted for a couple days within a week or so after trying (nothing heavy didnt need a tampon just showed itself when wiped) now its DECEBER 4th, no period, 3 negative tests, showing symptoms...jeez u would think i would know im pregnant wsince i already have a kid, but im clueless i cant remember...any advice or thoughts?

today makes me 7 days late for AF....i took a hpt 2 nights ago...negative..i have one more test at home but i want to take it where my result will be accurate. I wish i had an ultrasound machinebatb home so i can take a sneak peek inside....how long should i wait before taking my test?

**Correction** AF was due on 11-25 she is still a no show..so im 10 days late not 7

22 days late now. STILL having negative hpt and had negative blood test in Nov. This was the first month we ttc, and I never did much research as far as preg symptoms due to not wanting to drive myself crazy. meanwhile, since i'm 3 weeks late, i've obviously been doing my research. are there any other reasons that i've had b___st tendernous for over two weeks? i'm going to the doctor again but happy that we can all commiserate and hopefully eventually celebrate this frustrating situation!!

I am in nearly the same boat, I wish they just had a little home blood test kit, like what diabetics have, that we could test our HCG levels on... So much easier than the urine ones that never work for some of us... Good luck ladies!!!! :D

hi ladies! I am in the same situation! I got pregnant with my ..now 2 yr old son on the first try and took a otc test that came up postive two days before my period was to start. So we just started trying for baby #2 ....couple days after ovulation this month I started spotting dark and very light pinkish when I wipe...this has been going on for 1 wk 4 days now....I am only two days late and have taken tons of early preggo tests...level 20 that I ordered off the internet....totally feel pregnant..b___bs hurt, tired, back hurts, bloated...and the spotting( I also had with my son)...It's good to know that some have come up with a positive days later.....I really think that I am crazy ...but really feel that I am pregnant!!! Has anyone used the preggo tests off the net? They are supposed to be like the doc office ones? My doc told me to wait and test again next week....but I would think that it would show up by now? Has anyone spotted for that long before? Thanks girls..keep you updated!!!!
