hey alisondunstan112 just wanted to ask you how easy was it for you to get clomid? i mean did the doc run a few tests then prescribed it to you or did the doc just go here you are and good luck? i think im having difficulty with falling preggo.i have been trying for 2 years.just wanna know what my chances will be if i went to the doctors.you answer back to this will be greatly appreciated.x

hi, so im really confused, my period is a week late, took 2 hpt and all neg. but my b___bs are SO sore and 2 weeks ago i could barely get out of bed i was so dizzy with headaches and nauseaus. not on bc anymore, havent been for a few months. what do i do?!

its difficult to say as we are all in the same boat really....and we have all had different outcomes...but you could be Preganant, but you might not be....i came off bc in december 09 and i thought my periods were regular but it turns out only the 1st 2 actaully were, the last two this year have been 4 weeks late which as you can imagine, i thought i was Pregnant, but after taking a test and being negative again....its really quite confusing and upsetting, i also had the dizzyness feelings, especially for the first few months of coming off my pill, and sore b___bs etc....most of the symptoms as you would have like you were pregnant....but its seems it was my bc working its way out of my system....which sort of makes sense with the hormones etc...but ofcourse thats not what we want....i am going to see my doctor on the 13th sept....i am due my smear and i thought as i was there maybe get some advice to see if they can suggest anything and i want to continue taking the folic acid tablets....they say to wait around 12 months before going to see a doctor but i thought as im going there any way perhaps they wouldnt mind seeing me....we really want to start a family having got married in April this year we are definatley ready....:-) but it can take up to a year for bc to come out of your system which is why you can have irregular periods....which is a real pain especially when you would do anything to have a positive test...but jsut gotta be patient, what will be will be....if you are trying to get pregnant try not to think about it to much....easier said than done when thats what you want more than anything in the world....but that can delay your period aswell...i would wait another week and take another test if still no period, you could see you doctor to take one of their tests....?? but they no deifferent really.....delay could be down to a few things as to why you are late....stress...diet etc....xx good luck and let me know how you get on?? xx

aylarose19- my period was 8 days late and i had the sore b___bs and what not...thinking i was pregnant took 3 preggo test and all came bak neg for a good reason because at 4 in the arvo of be 8th day that i was late my period arrived!! its like as robert69 explaind 2 periods at once my god its painful.so believing so much thinking that i was pregnant or having pregnancy on my mind i think i held off my period for over a week.not good. anyway with your negative results also can be due to you testing to early.i work in childcare and my mums a nurse so i hear alot about woman actually testing to soon and have a false reading.the best time to do a hpt is 10 to 14 days after your period.that way your hcg level should be easily read correctly by the hpt.good luck chick and i hope the best for you.and i hope this helps.just be sure to keep tampons or pads on you wherever you go.i hope you get what your after keep in touch xx **baby dust**

hello everyone, so i have been trying for a year and 3 months to get prego, nothing yet but alot of close calls. i normally have my period for a week and this time i had it for 2 days and very light... i am due again to have it on the 14th coming up. i have gained alot of weight and my nipples have been soar and VERY itchy. i would love it if im prego. my huibby would be the happiest man on earth too. i have been so tired lately and i eat alot when i do eat... can someone help me. i dont want to take the prego test and have it say noa nd be all upset about it again.

Hello everyone, I'm 38 and I got preg last Nov, got very sick, lost baby xmas wk and had d&c.. Period irregular in the short sense and very heavy. Last few mths period lasted for 10 days every 10 days but last one stopped at day 5. I'm now on day 31 and hoping I could be preg from last cycle. Did one HPT and it was neg. Been showing symptoms of impending period for last 10 days - cramping and irritability but nothing happened yet. After reading the earlier posts I think it's unlikely I'm preg and think I'll wait another week before I take any further action. Just wondering what else would be the cause of the delay. Has anyone else had probs with hormones so out of whack like mine appear to be? Good luck to everyone else ttc xx

am 2 weeks late and 3 tests have been negative, i don't know what to do as i feel like i have had some very early symptoms. Help please

AylaRose sorry to hear that...good luck next time! lil10 if the tests have been negative then your period could be late for any number of reasons. Stress, change in routine, weight loss or gain. Maybe see your doc for a blood test and chat to figure out what's happening? Good luck to everyone!

Hi i am 2 weeks late on my period, i have a slight cramp in my right side i have done 3 urine pregnancy tests all negative, i also have back ache. my doctor said there are no infections and just to wait and keep doing hpt. i already have a child and i feel like i have some pregnancy symptoms like fatigue constantly and slight sickness but that could just be in my head. Has anyone got any advice?? Thanks,

Hi Rachel .. my advice would be to go to the Dr's for a blood test .. I am over three weeks late myself ..my b___sts are awfully sore and I've been getting cramps too .. I already have a 2 yr old and although I hadn't been keeping track of cycle, I remember that I took 4 tests before getting a positive at 6 wks gone .. this time I've taken 7 and am really fed up .. so I made an appt for a blood test tomorrow .. it's the only sure way of knowing at this stage .. good luck to you and keep me informed xx

ok so i am due for my period tomorrow and i have had no cramps or any sign of it coming. i have been waking up every morning with a bad back ache and yesterday i had a pain in my belly. i have been getting head aches alot more than normal but im think its just allergries. idk i guess if i dont get my period tomorrow i will take a prego test and let u all no... keep ur fingers crossed and pray that i am

I too am over a week late and did have implantation bleeding (I'm 99% sure b/c it was only a small amount of brown spotting at about 12dpo and that was almost 2 weeks ago!) - I do have a long luteal phase so I may be testing too early?? I am very tired, my nipples are extremely sensitive and my b___sts are swollen (I feel like I'm popping out of every bra that I've worn for years!). I'm getting frustrated and not trying to get too excited but hoping for the best. Can any of you who did get BFP's tell us how long it took you to get that? How many BFN test results did you have? I know some on here have said into their 2nd month of pregnancy even but I get so dis-heartened by people who say "oh well I got my positive test 5 days before my period was due" and then I question why I didn't?! Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

UPDATE after my periods being so irregular and heart break of neagtive tests, i decided to go to the doctors.... 13th septmeber 2010, i went to see my doc, even though it has been 10months from coming off my pill, (and you should really wait 12months)i thought as i was going for my 3yr smear, while im there i could see my doc for some advice, and thankfully he was fine seeing me :-) i explained about my periods etc and the doctor suggested i should go for blood tests to see if im ovulating and to check my hormones etc....so on the 24th september which is day 21 after the 1st day of my last period i will be going for my blood test, im then booked in to see my doc for the results on the 4th of october, to see if i am ovualting or not? if for some reason i am not ovulating then he suggested that the next step could be to put me on Clomid which helps induce ovulating. so im going to do some homework to see how this stuff works to try and make sense of it all. but In the mean time he has given me 3 months of folic acid, the suppliment to take 3 months prior pregnancy and 3 months during, we are still not giving up and are going to see what happens i guess.... so the next few weeks just couldnt come quicker for us....its gonna be hard but hopefully we will get there...will keep you updted and let you know what happens at my appointment xx baby dust to all xx
