UPDATE after my periods being so irregular and heart break of neagtive tests, i decided to go to the doctors.... 13th septmeber 2010, i went to see my doc, even though it has been 10months from coming off my pill, (and you should really wait 12months)i thought as i was going for my 3yr smear, while im there i could see my doc for some advice, and thankfully he was fine seeing me :-) i explained about my periods etc and the doctor suggested i should go for blood tests to see if im ovulating and to check my hormones etc....so on the 24th september which is day 21 after the 1st day of my last period i will be going for my blood test, im then booked in to see my doc for the results on the 4th of october, to see if i am ovualting or not? if for some reason i am not ovulating then he suggested that the next step could be to put me on Clomid which helps induce ovulating. so im going to do some homework to see how this stuff works to try and make sense of it all. but In the mean time he has given me 3 months of folic acid, the suppliment to take 3 months prior pregnancy and 3 months during, we are still not giving up and are going to see what happens i guess.... so the next few weeks just couldnt come quicker for us....its gonna be hard but hopefully we will get there...will keep you updted and let you know what happens at my appointment xx baby dust to all xx

to afireinside .. as I said with my first child I was 6 weeks gone before I got a positive .. in fact my daughter was born a month before the due date that my doctor had set because there was so much confusion over dates ... she was healthy and the normal weight of a full-term baby .. today I went for my blood test .. the doctor (a different one) said that it's very rare for someone to be pregnant and still test negative after being three weeks late .. I just don't know what to think anymore .. my body is giving out all the signs of pregnancy but I don't want to raise my hopes in case all the stressing about it is actually to blame for delaying my AF .. can't wait to get the results tomorrow .. wish me luck and baby dust to all xx

I am having the same problem as everyone else. I am now 4 days late which doesn't sound like much I'm sure, but I'm never late. I have three kids now aged 7,8 and 12. I am 30 years old and my husband and I really want one more. With my other kids I found out before my period was due by a couple of days that I was pregnant with the HPT'S. I have taken about 7 HPT'S so far and all were negative. i have been getting pains like i'm about to get a period for about 2 weeks on and off and usually when i get this pain i get a period within a few hours but i haven't. I have had all the signs of pregnancy,( nausea, dizzyness, turned off by tastes i usually enjoy, enlarged b___sts, sensitive nipples the past week, tired, veins showing through skin (very vascular). increased sense of smell big time...) . I also get in a really weird mood at about the same time of day, a mood that i have never experienced before. I feel tired all day long then can't get to sleep at night, HELP! Any advice would help. I really think I am pregnant & don't want to lose hope - I've had 2 miscarriages, the last one being December 2009, i feel like i am going crazy all i can think about is peeing on a stick and seeing those possessive lines I just can't take this not knowing any longer :(

Got my blood results today .. and I am definitely NOT pregnant .. the reading was at only 0.84 .. I am now fully converted to the theory that the mind can play nasty tricks on your body .. my period has never been late before (i.e apart from my first preg) and I have sore b___sts, nausea, lower backache and even a darkening of my nipples!! With my first I was a carefree career woman and just left it to chance .. we conceived within a month of having unprotected s_x!! .. I'm now worried that this situation and so much stressing about it will hinder our chances for a 2nd one .. from the bottom of my heart I wish you all the very best .. may our wishes come true .. eventually xxx

sorry to hear your news, i seem to be writing on here all the time but i feel like you are all friends of mine and we can talk to eachother....im not sure what is happening with my self yet as im waiting for my bloods etc...but i agree i really think if you stress out about it to much it can affect your cycles and make you believe you are preganant...especailly when the symptoms for both a very simular it makes you start to believe that maybe you are pregnant....but then getting a negative test result is horrible....but then making your self think maybe you tested to early...maybe the test was wrong...and then still getting a negative....heartbreaking, i say that i dont think about becoming pregannt to much and if it happens it happens, but it is something that i want more than anything in the world...i think if you are trying for a baby then to me from reading peoples posts and from the last few months, it sounds like people seem to take longer to concieve....because when you are not trying its unexpected...but it could of taken you the same amount of time to concieve....we dont know...every womans different...if only it was easy...and when we are ready for a baby our body would be ready aswell....it is a hard time for us all....lets hope that soon we will have some good news....my wish is to have conceived by christmas...thats all i want for christmas...would be one of the best moments in my life to have a positive test....lets see what the future holds...happiness for us all....baby dust to all...keep us updated....xxx

yes it is heartbreaking .. you should have seen me driving like a woman possessed to the clinic cos i just couldn't wait for them to post the papers .. the girl at the desk probably thought she had a crazy red faced woman on her hands lol .. but now that I've calmed down I just feel thankful that I already have one beautiful daughter and if I won't be able to give her a brother or sister then it just wasn't meant to be .. I will definitely keep you updated and in the meantime pls keep posting all of you .. I sooo look forward to your news everyday ladies xxx

ok, so yesterday i was suppose to get my period... never came. i have been having redal bad gas lately, and this morning i felt sick to my belly. idk what to do... i dont want to have my hopes high and than have them crash and burn. but than again if i am i want to know so i have a healthy happy baby. GRRR idk what to do ....

I'm in the same boat pratically..last cycle was 08.14.10 n was expectin nxt on the 12 or 13th..I'm usually never late..only late once in 2005..been cramping, but nothing..that's what hap w/my son I had bad cramps..took a cheapo test..every1 says they work..anyway negative..lol

ok well i took a prego test today... neg. but i have two more and figured i would do one before bed tonight and another when i wake up in the morning. cross ur fingers i really want this guys

Hi Girls, I am now a week late, i've had really bad cramps and period pains (which i never normally have) but no period just clear discharge and all the pains. I took a HPT two days ago but it was neg, Do you think i should take another one? It's really frustrating....

Hi all, well i posted on September 15th, 2010 that i was 4 days late with A/F, my last period was on August 14 and i was expecting to come on around they 11th, I am now 9 days late and still testing negative on hpt, I have made a appointment to visit the doctors on Wednesday morning for a blood test, i will let you know how it goes ether way... Did anyone find out they were pregnant after a missed period and negative tests?
