Hi all, well i posted on September 15th, 2010 that i was 4 days late with A/F, my last period was on August 14 and i was expecting to come on around they 11th, I am now 9 days late and still testing negative on hpt, I have made a appointment to visit the doctors on Wednesday morning for a blood test, i will let you know how it goes ether way... Did anyone find out they were pregnant after a missed period and negative tests?

Are you having any symptoms? My mum had neg HPT for 3 months before finally having a + so it can happen!

Hi SarahMcG, yes i am gettin all the symptoms,Sore b___sts and sore nipples, cramping, nausea but no sickness yet, i feel tired all the time and i even have a weird metal taste in mouth (i', not sure if that is a symptom?) they started over 2 weeks ago and seen to be getting worse everyday, this is really confusing to me :(

Hi, I am new at this and googled "missed period negative pregnancy result" and found this forum. I am also late and have had a negative first response test. I guess after reading others stories I will wait another few days to test again. It is very frustrating....

i got 3 neg. and finally got my period b___bes are still sore but idk well see what happens i guess in the future

I had my last period July 30-Aug.5. I did not get a cycle in August and it is Sept.20 and still no cycle. I have taken first response tests and 2 clear blue digital and all came out negative. I have a regular cycle, so what could be going on. I am thinking I will go to the doctor a.s.a.p to see what is going on.

So glad to have found this forum, the people here have provided a lot of great information! I hope one of you can relate to my story and possibly provide an answer or insight!? Ok, so my last period ended sometime between 8/07 and 8/10. I'm not sure of the exact date, but I know it was positively over with by 8/11 because I was stoked about AF being out of the way for a pool party. I have a pretty typical 30 day cycle, give or take a few days every month, and it only takes about 3-5 days.My husband and I were busy last month however and didn't do the deed at all during August,I know specific dates because as soon as we noticed that little detail, we scheduled a romantic labor day weekend getaway!! We had "fun" 9/3- 9/5, only a couple days before I was expecting AF, which by my normal logic should have been between 9/07 - 9/13. Once those days pa__sed, I raised an eyebrow...but not really because I had only done the deed a little over a week before. And before I forget, we used the pull out method, just sayin. By the 17th and with no AF, I broke down and bought a hpt test just out of curiosity, but it was neg. Here I am 4 days past that,4 hpt's, and 4 BFN's later, with absolutely no clue of what's going on. If I got pregnant, it was definitely conceived on 9/04 or after...so I guess my question is would it even show up on a hpt yet? Takes 7-14 days to implant, right? The last few days have been torture waiting to start, I'll start to think I feel it coming on, but nothing. I had gurgles in my stomach over the weekend, but I honestly think it might just be gas and I'm wishful thinking. Today I started with lower back pains, and an overall bloated feel. I feel a slight discharge come about every 2 hours or so, it feels like the start of AF, but when I go check its a no go. Am I psyching myself out here? I had a baby at 22..Im 28 now, but I was in that lucky percentile of women who experience little to no symptoms. As soon as I missed AF last time, I tested positive as soon as the urine hit the stick. But I know every pregnancy is different, so I have no clue what to think right now. Is it too early to be testing and worrying, or should I worry in a week or so. I'm worried that I'm worrying too much about it and just worrying myself into a delayed AF!Either way, all this has made me realize I definitely want another child and can't wait to find out if that's now, or if I'm finally going to get to properly plan one,lol! bless you...we all know that feeling....but every woman is different with the tests...sypmtoms etc....i was 4 1/2 weeks late and then finally got my period....i was gutted....some thing we want more than anything in the world and we have been trying to since dec 09 really...and we have been unsuccesful....we havnt used contraception anyway....with having late periods i defo agree if you start to think you are pergnant you can make yourself believe that you are....even though you have not been trying, when you know your period should be here and its not....what do you do?? what to think?? my advice is give it anohter week and then take another test...give it chance for you hormones to work out whats happening.....try not to think about it to much....just get on with everyday life...easier said than done i know....try not to stress about it cause that can delay your period....i was having symptoms....symptons i thought could be pregnancy but believed it was my period coming...when searching google some period and pregnancy sypmotms are oh so simular so i didnt really understand or know what i was going through...i obviously wanted one and not the other...but after a few negative tests and agonising weeks went by it eventually turned into my period....upsetting but at least i knew what was happening and me and my hubby can now try again.....but because its been 9mths for us 'trying' we have booked a doc appointment because my periods have been so irregular whilst being off the pill!! so got doctors now on friday for bloods to see if i am actually ovulating....then i got to wait a week and half to see my doc again for dicussion...in the mean time my husband and i are going to carry on as usual and see what happens....let me know what happens and if it turns out not to be the anwser you want it to be....maybe now you could be ready to have another baby :-) keep in touch and update xx baby dust to all xx

I haven't posted on here in a while. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year now. After a very devastating miscarriage and D & C in April, my Husband and I still have not conceived again. I've been through bloodwork and an HSG. Everything is coming back normal. I am now on month 3 of Clear Blue Fertility monitor. I have been ovulating every month like clock work. My Dr. says I'm young and everything is fine. She continues to explain to us how much stress is a factor and can effect so much when trying to conceive. Timing is everything apparently!! Stress has delayed my periods and done a number on my body. My Husband has also been through a couple sperm a___lysis's and they come back fine. I go in tomorrow afternoon for a laproscopy surgery. Let me tell you all, I have never been so scared in my life. I have also finally started on clomid. 50 mg on days 3-7. After tomorrow we may finally have all the answers. I pray everything is fine and all the stress and heartbreak can finally be over. Good Luck to all!!!!

We've put off clomid since May when my Dr. gave me a prescription. At this point I need to try all my options before the last resort of in-vitro and A.I. I have never ever had problems with my cycles or abnormal paps. So I am hoping my Dr. is right and our problem is just stress and timing. We are praying it doesn't come to that. But again we'll have our answers tomorrow. I am just praying for the best!!!

my periods were always regualr as a youngen and on my contraceptive pill...ever since i have come of my pill my periods have been all over the place...the doc wants to check that i am ovulating first and then we gonna take it from there....let us know how you get one tomorrow hun xx baby dust xx

Hi all, thought I'd chip in with an update. Sounds like we are all going through the same thing! To recap on my earlier post I had Miscarriage and D&C christmas week '09 (heartbreaking) Periods all over the place since then - always early and never late until August. Went a week over but got AF finally. Also tried several different ovulation kits and never got a positive - the lines always got dark and then faded again never actually reaching a full match. Doc did bloods in August and hormones were fine so am now on first cycle of Clomid - 50mg day 1 to 5. Having day 21 blood test next week to check if I did actually ovulate so fingers crossed that it shows I am... I am rooting for you all out there and wish you all the best. Hi it's Loulou123 again, I posted on September 20th that i was 9 days late on my period, I am now 12 days late, still no sign or coming on and still getting negative hpt, I went to the doctors yesterday, I they took a pee sample that also came bag negative, the doctor did a internal on me and said that my uterus felt high and that might indicate a sign of pregnancy, she sent me for a blood test, i had one blood test yesterday and need to get another done tomorrow to determine if there is a pregnancy level that is increasing, i am going out my mind now and just want it to be over, i hope to find out for sure on Friday (tomorrow) or Monday, if the blood test is negative the doctor said to wait to weeks then if still no period, i should have a ultrasound, i'm keeping my fingers crossed...
