alisondunstan112- hi alison thank you for getting back to me so quickly, congratualtions on having a little girl :) thats lovely news xx
thank you for all your information, it has helped me to know what sort of tests i could have done, my periods have been really irregular this year with coming off the pill in dec and the blood tests i had sept/oct did show that i ovulated but that showed on my 3rd blood test in 3 weeks i had tests, 1 every week, because my period was due but doesnt seem to come at the right time, its like i have 2 periods in one....so the blood tests showed that i am ovualting, just not very regular atm....so im a__suming that the specialist will probably want me to have more bloods done to see if im ovualting, but i guess i wont know this until my letter comes, which i really hope it arrives soon, i really cant wait 6mths+ like my doctor suggested it could take :( we are going to realax and take each day as it comes, i will keep you updated on when my letter arrives and see what happens.....if i dont speak to you before, i hope everything goes okay for you when you give birth to your beautiful little girl and keep us posted xx becky xx

roberts69 - With your periods being so irregular you may really want to look into Clomid. I hesitated for 6 months before deciding it was the right decision. It will regulate your ovulation and periods. One thing I've learned is we are paying our doctors to care for us so you tell them what you want done. I am so surprised that they haven't prescribed Clomid to you yet. I am so incredibly thankful that we have such a wonderful OBGYN and infertility specialist. They guide us and give us advice but ultimetly we make the decision. They are not pushy and truly care about us as patients. Honestly it has made this process so much less stressful.
Good Luck to you all!!

asm100309 - thank you for your post, your right i should do something about it, we shoudlnt have to wait 6mths!! on my visit to the doctors they did suggest clomid as an option but first they wanted to do the blood tests to see if i was ovulating, im not sure why he didnt prescribe me clomid after the bloods came back cause that is something that i would of really liked to try, to see if it could help us, i think i might give him a call....cause i really want to get things going and not have to wait...its not fair having to wait for 6mths.....we have been trying for 11 months and another 6months to wait for tests and then how long after then....im gonna get on the phone to him next week (cause hes on holiday this week) and im going to see what he can suggest, to have to wait 6mths is crazy xx becky xx

I was ovulating every month it just wasn't regular. The clomid regulates that. The internal ultrasounds I started this past cycle have been wonderful. They can tell exactly when you will ovulate and I got a shot of Novaryl (sp.) and within 24 hours you will release an egg or mulitples with the clomid. That is when they inseminated. I did have only 1 follicle this month but that's all it takes! It is only day 20 of my cycle and not even a week since the insemination but I totally feel not pregnant! Just trust your instincts and tell them what you want!!

My Dr. did. But the first month I started it was the month I had the surgery so we weren't able to try that month. I am now on the second month of it. Our specialist presribed me prometrium which I started 2 nights ago. That is a supplement for proestrogen.

Roberts69...best of luck with the appointment next Wednesday - sounds like you've been through a lot and I really hope it works out - I'm on second cycle of clomid as I was a hit and miss at ovulation. Being on it has given me peace of mind. If your doc does prescribe clomid for you ask if you can have the day 21 blood test to check your hormone levels and make sure you ovulated. I'm sure you'll have success soon!! xxbaby dust to allxx
Congratulations to all the recent success stories - gives us hope :o)
