Please Help Need Some Answers

ok i took a ept and i came out negative at first (that was in the 3 minute time frame thats on the box) but when i went back to check it a little while later there was two lines (positive) Does that mean that i am pregnant? Someone please reply!!

ah, same thing happenend to me. i'm as confused as you are! all subsequent tests have shown negative... but am due to see Dr tomorrow so will let you know

No, it doesnt Michelle.If, a result doesn't appear in the given time frame then your not pregnant.This, is called an evaporation line.Leaving the test to sit for awhile will cause it do to this.Altho, sometimes but very rare it could possibly mean that you are pregnant, try to get another test in 2 days!

Well, it mostly depends on the hpt because some say to let it sit for a longer period of time.

well now i am confused! the only time i have had a "positive result" is when i have left it to sit for a while. it has not come back positive within 3 -10 minutes. can the 3 positives i have had all be evaporation lines? i have probably done 10 tests in the past week and none of teh others have evaporation lines. HELP!

well... i went to the doctors today and she said that she thought i was pregnant and could well be 8 weeks! she said she could not explain why i was getting some positive and some negatives, but said that it wouldn't show up a line at all if i was not pregnant!
does that help at all?
