I'm not sure if I am pregnant, so I want to take a pregnancy test. However, I am currently taking Birth control (Yasmin). Will the birth control alter the test results?

im in the same situation and although the pill is supposed to be over 99% effective im still worried. do you know if you get periods even if youre pregnant but on pill? iv heard you get periods anyway.... i dont think it will alther results but im not sure. please answer....

i am wondering the same thing. im also concerned of whether you can have periods while pregnant and on that same birth control?

well i was on the pill and thought i was pregnant (which i am) and i looked it up on the internet that the chances of hurting your baby if you are pregnant and taking the pill are very very slim..like .003% and if you are having a boy it has a chance to feminize him...i'm not sure it will alter the results of a pregnancy test though.
