Quantative Or Qualitive Test

Hello ladies I have a dr apt this week I am about 11/2 weeks late and all my test have been BFN. My doctor told me to come in they will do blood work, Which one should I ask for as I have heard stuff about both Please help me my apt is Tuesday

Jordan.....I'm 24 DAYS LATE...still no show...Did a couple of HPT again this week (so far, took a total of 7 HPT, 1 dr's urine...all were neg...)...Went to the E.R. on Friday, had blood test again (total of 2 quant_tive blood tests, all negative)....At least this doctor was friendly and helpfull....I am having an ULTRASOUND done this coming week (hopefully I'll get an answer this week)...the suspense is killing me, but I changed my way of thinking in order to keep my thoughts busy...if i'm pgnt, it'll eventually show.....Still having more symptoms (nauseous, ALOT of tingling & burning feelings in my lower abdominal area, sore nipples, extrememly fatigued, headaches-which i never use to have, white creamy discharge....etc) So, I really don't know what's going on....Hopefully I'll get all of my answers this week!!! All I know about the blood tests is that the "quant_tive" test mesure the amount of HCG hormone in your blood, and if it's lower than a certain number, they consider you not pregnant and if that # is same or higher, you would be prgnt....and the "qualitive" will only give a yes or no result.....Your best thing to do would be to ask your doctor about these tests and i'm sure they'll know which test to give you....here's a great web site you could check out....http://www.moondragon.org/pregnancy/pregnancyinfo.html......Let me know how you are doing....G/L to us all :)

Thanks monique i have my fingers crossed for you let us know what your results are. I will let you know how my blood tests go also. My symptoms seem to have settled down the last few days. I was experiencing EWCM for about 6 days now it is creamy white , my breats feel harder and fuller but not sore a little tingling around the nipple, acne which I never get and for about a week my stomache felt nauseated but feels great now. I haven't been tired but today my eyes are just burning. I have noticed that some women have been getting stuffed up, about three weeks ago for two days all of a sudden my nose became congested not sure if that is anything. Baby dust your way and hope all turns out
