I feel so stupid but can the baby die without me knowing it? It is too early to feel movement and I only see the doctor once a month to hear the fetal heart tones. I am 42 and this is my fifth child but I feel like it is my first since my youngest is 8.

Did you ever feel any symptoms, sore b___sts, tired, any morning sickness? I am just wondering if you had those or any symptoms and they suddenly stopped? Do not stress over this, but I would call the Dr and tell them what is going on. You have no bleeding, correct? I felt very pregnant, all the symptoms with my first child, and none with my second ,and both are healthly !

Don't feel stupid! We all worry about those sort of things. You are totally normal. Some women get no symptoms. Not even the dreaded morning sickness. After the 12th week you are able to pee normally (more or less) and morning sickness, fatigue etc all go away. This is the yahoo I feel better part of pregnancy. Your baby is just fine. You are just having a different pregnancy than you did the previous 4 times (or you blocked it out lol). Relax, know you are ok and the baby is safe, and enjoy your pregnancy. Congratulations!

Cindy I'm 14 weeks also and don't have many symptoms except my b___sts hurt. I've had 2 ultrasounds & everything looks good. Guess we're lucky :) Try not to worry.

I too am only 14 weeks and I dont really have any symptoms other than my clothes dont fit and I am hungry all the time. I have not thrown up not even once!!! I have heard the heart beat, and my baby is growing soo fast. The only thing that I am concerned about is I am not showing at all.

Not all women get morning sickness. I am pregnant with my third child. My first two, I did not have morning sickness except once when I drank orange juice in the morning. That was a mistake. This time, I was just tired and my b___sts were tender. Certain food tasted different to me but I did not have any sickness. Do not worry about the symptoms you do not have. See your doctor regularly and things will be fine I am sure. Take care.

Cindy, I too have the same fear as you...can the baby die without me knowing. I am 17 wks with my first (at 36 yo). Last week I started getting little fluttering sensations and have been told that it is the baby moving. I'm so scared though that something could happen and I wouldn't know because I've never been through this before. It is comforting to know that others have the same fears! I'll relay to you what everyone has been telling me...believing that everything is OK is the best way to relieve your fears. And, if it helps at all, I personally knew a girl that was pregnant with her second child and didn't know it until she delivered (at what they estimated to be about 8 1/2 months)!! She said that she didn't feel at all like the first time and dismissed any signs that she may have been pregnant because she had a period the entire time.

I am 11 1/2 wks and I am really nervous. I had my daughter 2 yrs ago fine, no symptoms, no problems. Then January '05, I had a miscarriage. Now I am pregnant again and I am scared. I have sore b___sts, tiredness, increased urination, and appet_te. I had an ultrasound and all was well but i'm still not completely enjoying my pregnancy this go around.
