39 And Trying To Become Pregnant

I'm in the trying stages of becoming pregnant and want to do what is right. I want to do the CVS and amnio...am I going to far with wanting so many tests?

My wife is 43. We have 11 months twins(girls). We never did any test and all worked out well.
My wife is pregnant again (boy) and due march 2006.
We did CVS test this time. Good results no problems. CVS is the best test as it checks the chromosomes for down syndrome. No need to do Amnio.
I personally think that family history play a big role....

Paul, did she get pregnant naturally or a__sisted reproduction, I am 38 and having difficulties. pls advise

Fertility (insermination) for the twins and "au natural " for the new baby...didn't think she was going to get pregnant naturally after we had the twins....Paul

Paul did she have a c-section with her 1st birth?If so was the recovery ok?My sister had a baby and has filled my mind with horror stories.

Yes it was a C section for the twin pregnancy. One baby was breached. They both weighed close to 6 lbs and 8 lbs respectively.

Hi - I delivered at 39 and got pregnant right away! I ended up with a C-section but honestly all and all very smooth
