Hi my name is laura and I'm 40. I have a 15 y/o boy from a previous marriage and my husband has two daughters 16 and 18. I would love to add to our family.
Thanks,
Laura

you are not too old to try. my children are 18 and 14 and i'm 41 1/2 and trying to get pregnant. i had my tubes reconnected 8-06 and have been trying for 10 months now. don't think about your age, just remember there are a lot of pregnancies in women over 40.

40 is certainly not too old. I am 36 weeks pregnant with child number 6. My kids are 20,16.5,3, and 18months. I am currently 39 1/2 years old. I actually have a cousin who is pregnant with her first at 41 years old. Even though i'm done after this one I think being pregnant up until the age of about 43 is not to uncommon. Of course if you ask a twenty-something the same question, they think 40 is ancient and you should be in a rocking chair or something, but once your around 40 you see how young you still are.

Thank you so much for the positive answers. I 'll keep you informed when we actually start trying. I'm going to start teaching cycle at my gym soon. One of the instructors just had her first and she's 36 or 37.
Thanks :)

I'm 40 and 30 weeks pg. My only child is 21. Last year my dh had a vasectomy reversal (he has 2 from a previous marriage) which worked immediately. We had one m/c and this current pregnancy. I think having a child together bonds blended families in a way nothing else can. Good luck

im 40 and 32 weeks pg. we tried so hard to get pg before i reached 40 for about 2-3 years...we gave up and lo and behold...lol..God had other ideas for us...our first child is 8 y/o and she was not planned so we thought it would be so easy to conceive....anyways...i sort of feel old but not old to be a parent...good luck!

I'll be 42 at my delivery. I got pregnant using the natural method but tried for a year. I intend fully on doing it one more time if I can.
