Thank you for all of your input. I have scheduled my amnio for week 15 on July 21...I am very apprehensive and one day I am going to go through with it then the next I am not. The chance that I could have a baby with a chromo defect are 1/65 according to the statistics at Kaiser. With the amnio, 1/300 - 400 risk of miscarriage. I would be heart-broken if something happened and the baby was healthy but I know that my husband and I wouldn't be able to handle it if something were wrong. TTC took 8 months.
