42 Pregnant And Terrified

i am 42 and pregnant with my 3rd child/due in january.... and i am a little terrified.. found this forum looking for some REAL information rather than statistics.. i'm having my amnio in 4 weeks... honestly, i don't understand all the technical pregnancy jargon and terms very will... guess i'll learn... @ 42 i feel more ignorant than i did 15 years ago when i had my 1st child.. help!!!! please!!!

I am 43 and pregnant with my 4th. last one 14 years ago. New things all the time. Had a triple screen done and my results were great 1-680 and 1-1000. I had my level 2 done yesterday and the baby was good. I am not doing a alpha test because the spine is good. I am having a boy and he weighs 7.8 oz and he is 5 1/2 inches long. I will not have a amnio done, to many risk and the chances are so high to miscarry at our age, and with the numers that came bach negitive and good I am not worried about it. They said that I tested as a 33 year old woman, so I can now breath,.At 28 weeks I am having a 4d ultra sound taken, (we re apying for it $140.00) and that I cannot wait for it should be pretty cool. Dont feel ignorant, I know how you feel things have changes SO MUCH>
