No. You are not too old. I am also 43! I am now 19 weeks. It took my new husband and I over a year. We tried naturally for a while then my doctor gave me Clomid. I got pregnant the second month I was on it. We are hoping to try for our second child after this one if all goes well. Baby Dust to all.

I just turned 43 and still trying for #1 baby. Having recently turned 43, I am now asking if I am too old to have a baby. I would love to hear some feedback from over 40 Moms dealing with infants and thoughts you have. I have a great hubby...and currently we both work in pretty intense jobs. Would need to either seek a new position or be a stay at home Mom...but fear has suddenly gripped me that I might be crazy for stepping down the baby path this late in the game. Also, we have been considering a donor egg, as we haven't had success with natural conception. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

You are not too old. I am hoping that chasing a little one around will keep me young! Think positive. Have you tried Clomid? It did wonders for me. I am now 28 weeks. Good luck to you!

Hey girls I am in the same boat as you both I have been trying to have another baby since 2007 so I am coming up on 2 years in June and by the way I will be turning 41 on June 3. Once I got sick in March I decided I needed to take a break so this is my first cycel of me trying again and we will see. I am currently on cd 8 and I will start using my opk on Sunday cd 10 and go from there. I am not taking any medicines or doing anything special well I take that back I am taking folic acid and my doctor wants to see me back in July so I will keep you girls posted. Keeping my fingers cross for you and keeping you all in my prayers. I hope you all have a very nice and safe Memorial Day Weekend. Talk to you soon. Krissy68

Hey girls I just wanted to give you a quick update. I thought this was going to be my month but I was wrong. My temp took a nose dive today from yesterday 98.39 to 97.94 so I know she will be knocking in a few days. I will keep you all updated. I just turned 41 a week ago. I thought it was going to be a good birthday month. How is everyone doing? Talk to you all soon. Krissy68.
