My husband and I went for our 20 week ultrasound today and everything looked great except the small echogenic foci in her left ventricle. Of course our doctor told us the positives first and then told us about the calcium deposit. She kept reassuring us that she felt very confident that this was nothing for us to worry about. She even said most docs would not have even mentioned it, however she likes to follow up with anything "out of the norm". She scheduled us for a level II ultrasound next week with the specialist. While I totally appreciate her wanting to further investigate this, I'm a little freaked out. My husband and I had decided not to have the quad test, but now I'm wondering if we should have. Now we are anxiously awaiting next Thursday (July 19) to see our little girl again and are just praying she is healthy! I wanted to say that it is a blessing that I found this web site. Earlier today I was a wreck. After reading some of these inspiring stories I feel some what relieved! Thank you all so much and I will keep you updated!
