Anyone Experience Bleeding Early And Been Okay

Hi- I just tested 2 days ago when I was 2 days late. Used an EPT with +/- and got a very clear +. Today I woke with a backache and then wiped blood. Not too much, but enough to leave several spots on a liner. My backache and cramps have subsided and I don't notice any new spots on liner, but still wipe some brownish red. I'm so scared and looking for any positive stories that were similar and turned out okay. Also, went to Dr. today, they wouldn't do an exam because I'm only 4.3 weeks along. They did do a beta, but I have to wait a day for results. Thanks for any help!

Patti, i am 42 and when i was about 6 weeks i had some bleeding and even a couple of tiny clots. the next day i had an ultrasound and everything was ok. i am now 18 weeks and have heard the heartbeat and im doing fine.
i hope everything turns out just fine for you too.

My SIL had what she thought was a period but it turned out she was pregnant. Don't worry, you are probably just fine. :) Congratulations!

Hi Patti. The "bleeding" you had was probably just from implantation of your fertilized egg. I had the same thing happen in my first pregnancy (which scared me to death!) but everything turned out just fine. Many women will experience spotting right around the time that their period is due and think that they have had a light period when in fact they are pregnant.
