I'm so happy! I got my BFP this morning. 35 and pregnant in the third cycle! I had already tested 9 dpo and got a negative. I threw that test in the garbage and just wondered why I had bothered to test so early, and anyway, what are the chances of getting pregnant this fast. I got that test out of the garbage that night, though. Yes, yes, I am obsessed and saw that it had turned positive. I know it doesn't count after 10 minutes but still. Yesterday my AF was due and it didn't come. I sat out the day (counting the hours) and tested this morning at 4 a.m., saw the little "plus" and of course, coudn't sleep anymore. I tried again at 8 a.m. and this time the line was so bright it nearly jumped off the stick.
I can't believe it, I can't believe it!
I'm so very, very happy I feel like I'm just melting inside and jumping at the same time.

Congratulations, Babette! I'm sure this will encourage others who are trying to conceive; to know that our age we can still be quite fertile and that it can be done in just 3 cycles! Hooray for you!
