Chromosomal Abnormalities

I am 42 and 10 weeks pregnant, I will have CVS in 3 days. I lost a baby at 19 weeks last year, he had Trisomy 18. I also had a d&c ealier this year, the embryo was Trisomy 3. I have been to genetic counselling and have done some online research but cannot find satisfactory answers to my questions as all stats seem to refer to full term live births. I would like to know what are the chances of having another chromosomally abnormal fetus at this point in my pregnancy. The stats for live birth indicate about a 3% chance of a chromosomal abnormality; Trisomy 21, 18 & 13 but this does not help allay my fears as this statistic does not reflect the many people that abort after amnio or CVS. Can anyone answer this or tell me where to look for more info?

don't have an answer to your question but just wanted to wish you the best of luck. I'm also 42, lost 2 previous embryos and am now 8 weeks pregnant. Hope you find the answers you need. I'm very curious as well.
