Hi, any feed back about this monitor?

It worked for me..I like the positve symbol when you do a reading. If you want to find out if yu are pregnant before your missed period, First Response can detect the pregnancy hormone a few days in advance of your period. Good Luck Kristin

Ahh..sorry..but I used that too...it's great! I am now pregnant 6 weeks 5 days..I had a D&C December 22nd/05..I conceived Feb 28th. I used this as well as charting my basal temps and it was bang on!! Best of luck..and sorry for I initially misreading your question. Kristin

thanks kristin, wish you the best in your pregnancy. i will never understand how they calculate the weeks for pregnancy, you conceived Feb 28th, that makes you 4 weeks 5 days, right? sorry for my ignorance, good luck. i will order the monitor today, and you will be the first to know if it works for me. now the big job infront of me is how to get my husband to be with me on the same page. we both want kids, but he thinks we should not do anything out of our way to do that, its something in GOD's hands. I agree with that, but we have to do our home work too:) wish me luck.

No, When figuring out how pregnant you are.. you count from the first day of your last period..mine was Feb 14th. so technically 6 weeks 4 days..I am ahead of myself. Honestly my partner and I had talked about conceiving again..I just took it upon myself to do the basal monitoring and ovulation prediction kit on my own..I wanted to become more in touch with my body..and it really helped.. Not only did I know exactly when I ovulated, but the predictor indicated when my surge was...you are still taking a chance every month by getting pregnant..because even if you have intercourse around ovulation so many other factors must be perfect in order for the conception to occur. P.S. If you really want to increase your odds in my case I also put a pillow under my hips and stayed there for quite awhile afterwards.. Best of Luck.. P.S. May I ask how old you are? For me I am 38 so I felt I'd better get moving on the idea. XO Kristin

You mentioned you were going to order the monitor...I just bought mine at the pharmacy..and have you started basal monitoring or cervical mucus monitoring? i think it is imprtant to do all 3...the charts for basal monitoring are available on line. Also, are your periods regular like every 28 days? This is also a huge factor in pinpointing your ovulation. If you have a 28 day cycle count back from the 28th day 14-15 days. Make a window period of a couple of days on either side of that date. Have s_x around that window of time concentrating on the ovualtion day. :) Trust me it is not as technical as it may sound! By for now Happy Baby Making

I am 41, I started taking my BBT last month, the mucus monitoring, I started this month, I was not sure how to do that, it’s a new concept for me, so I bought a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility, its an amazing book, every woman should have it. I can’t believe how ignorant I was about these issues. Wish me luck and please take good care of yourself.
