Clomid And Breastfeeding Need Help Fast

Hi,
My Ob prescribed Clomid at 50mg on Monday and I'm still br___tfeeding my son about 5 times a day. What I'm mostly worried about is that if I start the Clomid what effect will it have on him through br___tfeeding. I've called my local pharmacist, paediatrician, asked my OB and they are all not sure of the side effects on my son through br___t milk. Because if it is harmful in any way, I surely will not take it. I'm trying to conceive our second child and have decided for the moment to try an OPK kit first before the Clomid. Has anyone been br___tfeeding and using Clomid at the same time. The only side effect so far is that my milk supply would decrease. Thanks for your help!!!

How old is your son? I have been on clomid twice and honestly I would recommend NOT trying to conceive using drugs while b___stfeeding. Quit b___stfeeding or wait until you are done b___stfeeding before you try to conceive. Good luck

My son is 21 months and I spoke to a health nurse yesterday and she said that Clomid was possibly hazardous to take while b___stfeeding so I agree that I'm going to wait and ween him off before starting the Clomid!! But the thing that's most upsetting is that the pharmacist, paediatrician, my OB said it was O.k to take man was I mad when I heard that it wasn't safe and listened to my instinct not to take it until I did more research. It sure paid off and thanks again!!
