Hi, I am new to this site and have found it so far to be very resourceful. I am 14 weeks pregnant and recently turned 37. I have always had a huge appet_tie for s_x prior to becoming pregnant and of course now it is even worse with all my hormones raging at the moment. I have always considered love making with my partner to be very sensual and it makes me feel all the love and passion in the world for him. Last night he told me that he does not like to see me beg for s_x from him? What else am I suppose to do go out and beg someone else??? I also become grumpy if we go without for 2 days or longer!!!! Love making is not a one minute thing, for me it is a way of communicating through our actions and really seeing the deeper side to it. I guess I am just feeling hormonal??? Blah!

I think it's a "man" thing. Maybe he feels inadequate for not "providing" you with your needs. Guys are like that :) LOL. I, too, have a strong appet_tie and dh and I go anywhere from 1-5x a day, although lately it's more like 1x. :( If we go more than a day or two without, I start getting really sensitive. I think for some of us, it's just a good way to express how we feel about the other person. Maybe you could explain it to him like that? That it's not him, but you just love him so much and that's how you know how to show it best? That way he won't take it personally. Good luck :)

Thanks for both of your advice. I have attempted a BJ first thing to no avail. But he did say that he will try to committ on a regular basis. It is now day 6 and ever so hopeful???

A lot of guys out there also have an irrational fear of hurting you or the baby, despite multiple rea__surances from your MD. My DH wouldn't touch me the first time around, and I was like you, wanted it every day. This time it doesn't seem to bother him so much, and as luck would have it, I have a low lying placenta so we have to hold off until the spotting stops. If nothing else, toys can be a lot of fun too.
