I posted this on first trimester too....anyone have feedback?
Hi everyone. Normally I post in the 35+ forum but thought maybe I might get more feedback here - from a broader age demographic. To cut a VERY long story short.....we ended up pregnant with triplets. Two in the uterus - one in my falopian tube. We had emergency lap surgery on Tuesday to remove the almost bursting baby/tube. The two in the uterus: one we saw the heartbeat etc...before surgery. The other egg never developed properly. My wonderful surgeon did not touch my uterus during surgery - to see if we can save the baby. The bleeding has pretty much stopped since surgery - I am sore but on the mend. Does anyone know the affect of surgery on a developing baby? We have a f/u vag ultrasound tomorrow to see what's going on....anyone else had surgery during this early stage of pregnancy? I am 42, was on my second month of clomid when we got preggers........
