O.k., here's a question for all of you. I am never late, am now 11 days late, have taken 2 tests, both were negative....but, I have soreness, and get nauseated when swinging in a regular porch swing. Also, have an enormous amount of air or bloating...just generally don't feel really good...what are the chances that the tests are false negs.? Also have noticed a bit of clear thin d/c.??? Sound familiar to anyone?
thanks

Sounds incredibly familar, I've had that for almost 8 weeks now and had numerous negative hpts. My family doctor however has said to wait before retesting and before restarting my fertility meds as it is possible for some women to not test positive until a few months into their pregnancy. There are loads of posts on the Pregancy Tests forum about the same thing so don't give up hope just yet, it's still very early days!

Maybe I've misunderstood but cd40 doesn't sound very long. Even with an average 28 day cycle, that's less than a 2 week delay. (If I've misinterpreted, I apologise). I mean it's good to know that delayed positives are quite normal. Some of the women on the Pregnancy Test forum and my own doctor say it can actually run into months before positives show up. Hopefully I'll know one way or the other soon.

urine tests are pretty accurate these days, but if you're really early on they could be false negatives. False positives are almost unheard of, but false negatives do occur if you're really early on in your pregnancy. Get a blood test-that will be accurate. Good luck!
